    Emily sure has aggression in her voice.

    Some of the screamy takes sounds so extremely furious, it's sometimes a bit too much for my ears to take without the instrumentals counterbalancing it / adding more frequencies :lol:

    Reminds me of the podcast and how Mike was talking about the band providing a safety-net for her to land on, allowing her to go extra unhinged.

    Talking about Mike, his grit on Casualty is just great ahah He really went for it!

    Yeah, he sounds sooo unhinged there. The aggressive vocal performances throughout the album shine so much more this way

    Hearing the vocal harmonies in isolation on several of these was so satisfying. "Overflow," "Stained," and "Good Things Go" in particular. Mike has really developed a good ear for strong and interesting harmonies in backing vocals, which was something I thought was a highlight of One More Light as well.
