I dunno how many of you have been keeping up to date on this but Forgive Durden are going to release their next album, entitled "Razia's Shadow" on the 28th October. It's going to be a musical and have characters portrayed by different artists that will be featured on the album.

So far they've had a viral campaign going on at http://www.raziasshadow.com where they're putting up a photo of each character and a sound clip of their voices.

So far it seems like it's gonna be pretty epic and I'm looking forward to it so much.

    So far there is:

O The Scientist played by Casey Crescenzo (The Dear Hunter)
The Bawaba Brothers played by John Gourley (Portugal. The Man) + Kris Anaya (An Angle)
The Narrator played by Aaron Weiss (MeWithoutYou)
Gargul The Oracle played by Danny Stevens (the Audition)
Toba The Tura played by Chris Conley (Saves The Day)
Sangara played by Daniel Young (This Providence)
Barayas The Spider played by Max Bemis (Say Anything)
Princess Anhura played by Greta Salpeter (The Hush Sound)
Pallis played by Brendon Urie (Panic At The Disco)
King Malka played by Nic Newsham (Gatsbys American Dream)
Doctor Dumaya played by Shawn Harris (The Matches)
Nidria played by Lizzie Huffman (Man In The Blue Van)
    Adakias played by Thomas Dutton
    Ahrima played by Thomas Dutton

    Anyway, the tracklisting is:

    01. Genesis (ft. Casey Crescenzo)
    02. The Missing Piece (ft. Lizzie Huffman)
    03. Life Is Looking Up
    04. The Spider And The Lamps (ft. Max Bemis)
    05. Toba The Tura (ft. Chris Conley)
    06. The Oracle (ft. Danny Stevens)
    07. A Thousand Year, Minute-Long Intermission
    08. The Exit (ft. Brendon Urie and Dan Young)
    09. It's True Love (ft. Greta Salpeter)
    10. Meet The King (ft. Greta Salpeter and Nic Newsham)
    11. Holy The Sea (ft. John Gourley and Kris Ayana)
    12. Doctor Doctor (ft. Shawn Harris)
    13. The End And The Beginning (ft. Greta Salpeter and Brendon Urie)

Narrated by Aaron Weiss of mewithoutYou.

Anyone else interested by the project?

I've been following this for a little while now and think it's going to be absolutely amazing.

Sangara sounded like Gerard Way to me, but I don't know.

Sorry I missed that one out and didn't notice!

No one seems to be sure on who Sangara is, people are saying they think the singers in the clip are Dutton and Dan from This Providence.

    I can't tell myself haha

This sounds amazing, I've been reading their blog, but I didn't know about this, actually.

edit: They just really give the Spider eight legs.

And that did sound like Gerard Way.

    I'm excited to hear this.

I've got to agree. The little clip of Sangara that's up actually reminds me of "Mama" a touch.

Definitely looking forward to this, it sounds epic.

Site was updated today with Pallis - Brandon Urie of Panic at the Disco. I must say, every clip that is released makes me more and more excited for this album. I am almost assured this will be album of the year for me

Man, I am so stoked for this. Both songs sound amazing so far and I love how they really DO sound like a well done musical.

Yeah, I love The Exit. Brendon Urie's voice is perfect for this album as is Dan Young's. The song actually reminds me of Mama by My Chemical Romance in some parts, but I love that song so it's okay. :p

i pretty much listen to this every time im in the car. I think the 1st half of the album is overall stronger and entertaining but thats not to say the second is bad.

Shame this won't get half the recognition it deserves...
