Really? Why? And what's up with Chelsea and Aresnal? HJave they played any friendlies recently? I know about the new signings and stuff, but actual playing, any games, stuff? Just those two clubs. And Tottemham Hotspurs.
no one actually lists down friendlies and they dont show friendlies on the telly either....you usually can find those unimportant resutls on the clubs homepage
In the last two or three seasons there's always been one outright winner without much change at the top of the table after the first couple of months. In 02/03 Man United came from being well behind Arsenal to win when they hadn't even been top of the table that season until about March. Newcastle and Chelsea were also contending until around then, and Liverpool had a great run during winter which got them to first place but in the end they only managed 5th.
Woah. 02/03 seemed full of ups and downs then. What about this year? Is there going to be an up/down thing? Because lots of clubs seemed to be pretty great (judging player-wise) this season.
Goody. Hey, 3 more minutes, and I'm off ter see another EPL match. Only way to build up my pathetic knowledge of club soccer.
omg....i remember that match, that match sealed our survival...too bad it was just for one more season....
whoever buys aston villa is gonna have alot to do....so even if they get a takeover, i dont expect much from them this season....
We have a decent first team, albeit one with no out-and-out wingers other than Peter Whittingham (!), so it's basically a question of our first choices staying fit. If O'Neill really is the new manager then we should be able to finish in a mid-table position with the players we have. Just don't let Samuel on the field...
Yeah, it also made us lose out on the title BY ONE FUCKING POINT You have no idea how pissed off I was that day And to answer the friendly quiestions: Chelsea are currently on a tour of the US and will also shortly return to Europe to play Feyenoord and Celtic. Arsenal are holding thier pre-season games across Europe, their latest victory was an 8-1 win over Austrian side Schwardorf.
you have no idea how happy i was when Viduka scored that goal in the dying minutes, i literally screamed my guts out
I held a grudge against Australia for a whole year because of that That was back when Viduka and Kewell were at their game. I think I nearly cried when that goal went in. I can't remember if it was Seaman or Taylor in goal that time but I remember cursing them quite a bit
i remember when Seaman was sold there was so many funny front pages on the papers, "Seaman squirms up north", "Wenger releases Seaman"
