Football (Soccer)

I think each position is equaly important, strikers and midfielders seem to get more credit and media attention because they generally score more goals than defenders.

 

But still, Real sign a relatively high amount of strikers and midfielders so it's nice to see a well-known defender sign for them.

 

exactly...in recent years who have they sign that have been decent in defense?

 

Woodgate managed to establish himself earlier in the year... but then he had to undergo surgery.

I feel sorry for Woodgate. Like me, he's prone to injury when he plays football

my techincal skills (passing,ball control etc.) are totally crap but my tackling is vicious...hehe

 

I'm a goalkeeper so I don't really need to have much technical skills and to be honest I'm shit at any technical skills anyway

I find it funny how Ruud Van Nistlerooy spent the whole of yesterday saying how Real Madrid are number one and yet they couldn't even beat Fulham today

Okay so now Reyes wants to leave...I really wish the manager and board would do their best to try and make life as good as possible for international players, I'm not saying they should do an Abromovic and buy mansions and Private Jets and Yachts for the players but assholes like David Dein don't do anything at all to help some of these players from abroad.

We shouldn't sell him or Ashley Cole, we need them both so much, Reyes signed a damn six year contract last summer and now he says he wants to leave?

 

Reyes didn't say he wants to leave, just that he wouldn't mind playing in Spain again in the future.

 

My god, so many matches I cant see because I live in l'Inde. Right now, it';s all hockey, hockey, hockety and cricket, cricket,cricket on ALL matches. The EPL is pretty much all that's gonna come, because there are some really hot tournaments in othwer sports. Alemenia crushed Holanda (I think), and Srilanka's on a roll. No football though.

Man, I feel so wierd. I haven't heard of/seen ANY of these matches. And I really dunno where I'll getta see them either. Oh well, at least today 'EPL Classics' comes on Z Sports.

 

its never too late to jump into the EPL although i must say every season since the 2002/3 season have been kind of boring...
