One more thing... why is Scaloni in the Argentina squad? I can't say he's a bad player because I barely saw him play for West Ham but surely Samuel is better.

Haha, they deserved it though. So Don't worry Chrysalis, we'll prove ourselves! (HOPEFULLY)

GERMANY!!! Sweden's out, it's sad, they pulled it off nicely in the first round.

Sweden being knocked out sucks. Now the only Villa player left at the World Cup is De La Cruz, haha.

oo well Argentina wins!!! it was a very touch match though. They jus needed a sensational goal to pull this off and Maxi Rodrigeuz provided just dat...but the big test is yet to be passed, Germany awaits them..muahahah

That's a bit harsh. Mellberg didn't have a great time last season but he is still a really good defender, and De La Cruz isn't a bad player, it just defies belief that people play him as a full back when he is actually a winger.

But the less said about Baros, the better.

Argentina struggled in that match, if you asked me. Shit, they have to play Germany now. They hardly have a chance (ok, maybe they do have one), but...
On a lighter note, Portugal is likely to beat Holland...I think.

Common sense tells me that Argentina should win narrowly, which obviously means Germany will win 10-0.

    Well, they won.

    _____________

Your top four? Mine's basic- Arg (more hope than prediction, but they have a chance), Italy, Portugal and Brazil. I want France or spain to get a chance but I don't think they'll get past brazil. Hoping on either though.

A fucking good game. Too bad the dutch lost. Van Basten will be the guilty one for sure for not letting Ruud in

Yeah, 4 reds... The referee made sure to be in the center of attention
