Alright, i guess i'm the only Brazillian fan in this forum....they din't play too badly with the Aussies. What the hell is wrong with Ronaldo ???. Kaka is playing good and we havent still seen any flashes of Ronaldinho's brilliance. All in all, i guess Argentina still stands out from all the other teams. And Brazil might even have a tough second round match with Italy

damn right, Italy are quite able this WC to beat Brazil, so far they only had one foul up with the US but other then that they are on fine form...hopefully they dont get the form of Euro2004....that was horrible...

Nice goal. Last minute. Nice. Disappointed in Ghana. Didn't play well. Crowded around midfield. Crowded everywhere. Swiss= smoother. kbye.

THAT WAS ONE HECK OF A GOAL by Joe Cole!!! Yeah and England must do sth about their defense even though the back 4 is made up of stars. I hope Michael Owen is alright cuz that looked nasty and i m not sure if Crouch wud be a good replacement for Owen. But the bottom line is England finished as group leaders and they wont have 2 play Germany in the 2nd round !!!

    Germany should win.
I love the attacking and striking postions, they have to be one of the most organised teams in the World Cup.
Plus they have Klose, Ballack, Lahm, Frings and...you get the point.

Btw, my cousin went to watch the Saudia Arabia match versus Ukraine.

And this friend of my sister's was supposed to go to Lahore, but her father took her to Germany as a surprise.
Thus either she will watch the England match or the Argentina versus Nederlands one.

    LUCKY.

The defenders had been in good form this year up until Sweden. The only weak link is Ferdinand and even he's world class when he concentrates.

Well, apparently Crespo/Saviola and Heinze are gonna bench it this match. Not that I mind, they need rest. Smart move on Pekerman's side. Plus, Argentina can't afford to lose 'nyof 'em the next game (if they win this one that is). Wonder if we'll see more of Messi though. I hope...

Argentina wants to lose this match against Holland so they have to play against Mexico and not Portugal. That way they win from Mexico and go to the quarter-finals pretty easily while Holland has to fight for the 2nd round against Portugal.

Yeah, plus they have very little preparation time if they win against Holland. Just hope they keep their form up.

@Evan- I thought I saw Hienze last match? .... Maybe I'm mistaken, but...

I think Portugal finished as group champions, which pretty much means that whoever loses the match faces Portugal in the 2nd stage.

@Evan & Meghna- Heinze is fit and played in the last match.

    Yeah, thought so.

    Halftime, 0 all.
Very tactical play. All calculative and stuff. Messi was good, but more of a goalassist, I thought. But I really just like seeing him play, he was pretty good today, all speed and grace. Holland's a very good defence, and Tevez= wow. Can someone tell me the stats (halftime) please, cause the TV is occupied right now? Especially the possesion- last check it was Argentina 35%...shocking. Anyway, good play. Have a feeling this will be a love all draw.

EDIT: Tevez is a leanmeanattackingmachine! Well, yay for me correct prediction!
Argentina are going to face Mehico on teh twentyfifth then?
