Yes! Blues didn't lose so it's still possible that Villa will relegate them with a derby win!

How was the score only 2-1? Arsenal could have won like 6-1...

Here's a couple of things I feel I should get off my chest.

First of all, Milan Baros. He probably has more talent than Craig Bellamy in his little finger (okay, maybe not, but in my opinion he is at least better) but he does virtually nothing except try to draw fouls and miss easy chances. When I've watched MOTD for the past few weeks, Bellamy has actually passed the ball, created space, and even scored a couple. Baros could do with trying to keep off the floor and pass a bit more.

Thomas Sorensen: He has had a good season and in my honest opinion he has some of the best reflexes of all the goalkeepers in the Premiership, but his handling leaves a lot to be desired at times.

Having said that, it was a great performance on Saturday and if it wasn't for some great saves from Friedel (as well as Reid and Todd) we probably could have won. Even if it hasn't been a great season the fans have to bear in mind that most of our key players are 25 or under and they need all the support they can get.

yeh i agree with the sorensen bit for sure. i wondered (like a few years ago) why he wasnt playing for a bigger team than whoever he played for at the time, then realised he cant actually hold the ball very well.

Hartlepool can go 13th if they win tonight. this is one of our games in hand and we'll only have the one after tonight.... 13th is definatley better than 20th (what we were placed at). but that only shows how close the bottom of the league is.

technically we can still aim for a play off place. although is a big ask :\ we have Adam Boyd and Joel Porter coming back into the team as well as players like Thomas Bulter and Tony Sweeny. so the team will only be boosted by that :)

I'd be surprised if that happened in Europe on a large scale.

Maybe only in the minor leagues where players get paid really little, not surprise if they fell for those setting ups.

But then again, those leagues wouldn't be lucrative enough for most people to bother fixing.
