Haha, one of my West Brom supporting mates went mad when he saw that Steve Bruce has better odds than Bryan Robson to become next England manager.
i hope they get someone good to replace him - dont care too much at this stage but i want someone who knows what he's doing
well they didnt beat us sortof, well yeh they did, arsenal did deserve to win that match (if you ignore the penalty shouts),
i didnt see the match but i heard that Arsenal just passed it about thinking it would go to penalties insted of going for the win in the 90 mins... what any team would want to do that is beyond me
Eh? That's not what happened at all... They got to full time on 1-1 on aggregate. It went to extra time and Van Persie scored a beautiful free kick (probably the best goal of January) which made it 2-1 and in the 4th minute from the end of extra time Arsenal tried to keep posistion but they got it in the 2nd minute from the end and scored making it 2-2 but Wigan winning on away goals.
I really dunno why Arsene Wenger has taken the approach that nothing matters but the premiership and the champions league...because of this we lost today and the only hope of winning anything this season is the champions league and lets face it the odds are kinda stacked against us... We really do need to sort ourselves out, transistion period or not, we need to gain more victories. I have a feeling that next season we'll start afresh in the new stadium and go on to win big things however I don't think this is a good way to say goodbye to the stadium aswell as Dennis Bergkamp.
But still, the only money I can remember Allardyce spending is £2m or whatever for Diouf, and look where Bolton are.
TBH, i dont care about the FA Cup this year, and its not as if Wenger dosnt ever other year, we've won it about 4 times since he's been at Arsenal, on a football and financial scale, we need champions league football next season, our target at minimum is 4th place, simple as
