If Henry leaves Arsenal and they don't finish in the top 4 they have a long, hard couple of years ahead of them.
Don't be too sure of that. Henry's future at Arsenal might be a little uncertain at the moment but sooner or later he'll realise that he is Arsenal and whenever someone speaks about him they will think Arsenal. I think Henry's loyalty is in tact with Arsenal to be honest. Barca don't need anyone else anyway. Why would you need Henry when you have Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o and Henrik Larsson? Sure, Larsson is getting a little old but he's still an awesome player. Its giant rich clubs like Barca that are ruining football even though Barca are my favorite spanish team
Mark Delaney has handed in a transfer request at Villa. He's a really good defender, too bad he's been really injury-prone for the last three years. I think David O'Leary is right to seeif he can get a run in the first team, and hopefully back to form. Ridgewell is looking like a decent prospect but all the dodgy decisions against him recently have fucked his confidence.
If Wenger could make Arsenal look like this it would make a huge difference: GOALKEEPERS: Buffon Lehmann Almunia CENTREBACKS: Carragher King Senderos FULLBACKS: Cole Toure (Convert to full back) Lauren Eboue MIDFIELDERS: Ljunberg Hleb Xabi Alonso Zakora Reyes (Left wing) Pires Boa Morte (Fulham) Fabregas (Alot of potential) Sebastian Larsson (Alot of potential) STRIKERS: Henry Torres Van Persie Kuyt Andy Johnson Dean Ashton (alot of potential) Owusu-Abeyie (alot of potential) Lupoli (alot of potential) To be honest that isn't THAT many signings and changes, if Wenger could produce something like that then Arsenal would be pretty much unstoppable
most of those guys will cost at 10 Mil at the least, and besides arsenal dont have that much cash to spend with the stadium being built and all...
I agree with Luke, except Johnson is crap, I would keep Campbell and Buffon probably wouldn't sign. Rob Green is more realistic and has a lot of potential.
Campbell has gotten too old and slow. Don't get me wrong, I think he was one of the best around but he's lost it. Johnson has the potential to be a great striker one day IMO.
He would fit in at Arsenal with his 'talent' for falling over in the box... sorry. Seriously, I don't think he's worth £3m let alone £5m as West Ham have supposedly bid for him.
hell, i wouldnt buy him even if he was free. He has talent but i dont think he'll regain much of it after he recovers from some problem he's been having....
Apparently someone bid £9m for him in the summer. They must have been desperate... coughBIRMINGHAMCITYcough
Birmingham cant affor to buy him anyway, and he'll probably flop like Forsell,Dugarry and currently Pandiani...
Chelsea are spawning bored kids for fans now....wheres the excitement in their play? -------------- GO LEEDS! 3-1 against Coventry...oh yeahhhhh! btw, love the rap Hellflame!
Hum, okay. I've just watched Everton lose to Liverpool 3-1 and I've just gotta say a few things... 1. Everton need to get their act together as a team. The last few matches have been abismal. 2. Some of the referees employed by the FA are fucking shite. Graham Poll is a joke and needs to be sacked as soon as possible. 2 sendings off?! Fucking hell. The second yellow card for Arteta wasn't even bookable! And in the last second?! There was no fucking need to send him off!
