That's a good call. I think if anyone catches up with Reading and Sheffield it will probably be them or Wolves.

This is the first time Villa have had back-to-back wins for almost a year to the day. Davis' goal was a beaut.

I can't believe Steve Davis actually wants to sign a new contract at Villa. He is the next Steven Gerrard, you mark my words.

A few respected pundits have been comparing Davis to Lampard and Gerrard, he's been linked with a move to Man Utd, and from what I've seen in the last year or so he definitely has the potential to be something special.

I used to be in full support of David O'leary, but now I'm sick of him. Surely Doug Ellis has one more sacking left in him before he sells the club? The sad thing is that he has undoubted talent but he just can't be arsed any more.

A player with great potential is one of my favorite football players, Quincy Owusu-Abieyi.

Fabregas has potential but he wont get anywhere in that posistion, I think him and Reyes are natural wingers, they've got the pace, passing skills and cross ability for a winger. Fabregas right now is playing a play maker/defence midfield posistion and he isn't doing well IMO (well he is but he could do so much better). However Owusu-Abieyi has the skill to be the next big thing.

I thought Gilberto was playing more defensively than Fabregas...

Gilberto is strictly a play maker. That's why Thiery Henry was masturbating over his return so he could set up goals for Henry all the time

 It would be good if David O'Leary showed that much enthusiasm... actually, no.
