i blame the weather and pitch conditions to be honest, any team that spams longballs and long throws were bound to get something, leeds simply could not adapt to the soggy surface

when we lost to you guys the other week now.. thats how Leeds managed to score 2 of their 4 goals. lumping the ball down feild is a simple way of scoring simple goals. (our usually strong defence was having a mer that day )

its proven to work by your results in the last couple of weeks

and i dont think you blame me the pitch really.. lost of people/ commentator/ TV personnel use that as an excuse these days. i think they forget that football is played on grass. and generally towards the end of a season it is likely to get chopped up, or even when a tackle has gone in and the surface can and will be uneven. the skill of a football plaer isnt flashy moves and down right 'genius' its how the player manages to pay the ball on any given surface at any given stadium. the simple stuff has to be done right and is sometimes the harder thing to do.

super wet muddy surface is not fun to play on, how tehy stay on their feet is amazing. i remember i was playing a match in singapore during rainy season and the field was turned to mush, i was on my ass half the time and when i went to the lockeroom, half my face as brown with mud

Should be an easy win today. Too bad I won't get to watch it, though. Stupid exams.

So Lassana Diarra is on his way to Real Madrid from Pompey. Letting him go only 6 months after he joined us was one of the worst mistakes Wenger has ever made, he would have solved our current DM problem in an instant.

that would be true, but considering the situation 11 months ago, Wenger didnt look like he was going to need Diarra at any rate
