I always follow this topic, I just never post in here. Do you guys only talk about the Premier League? I love the EPL, but I'm also a heavy follower of the La Liga and Serie A. I also watch Greek Football but I doubt anyone else does

With Van Nistelroy out for the season, Madrid are looking to buy Tevez in January if Man U doesn't pick him up.

Madrid also have to get rid of Raul. The guy was amazing back in the day, but he's starting to run out of steam. I was hearing the Madrid are also looking to sign Bayern's Podolski in January as well.

I follow pretty much all the main european leagues and I watch La Liga when I get a chance. Madrid are fucked with Van Nistlerooy out for the season. Schuster is under enough pressure as it is without their main goalscorer injured and I reckon he'll be sacked before too long.

I don't see Tevez going to Madrid in January though and I'd be extremely surprised if they're even interested in Podolski - although he may be a quick, technical goalscorer he's very inconsistent. Raul will never be dropped from the team though, any manager would have every Real Madrid fan wanting them out if they did. Raul is their god.

Barcalona will run away with it I think. I quite liked Frank Rijkaard when he was in charge of Barca but he never really had any authority over his players. Guardiola automatically had more authority and respect being a former Barcelona figurehead.

Serie A looks quite interesting this year though, it'll be a tight race to win the championship I reckon. But then again it's about time AC Milan actually made a serious challenge for the title. They have a pretty amazing squad this year though...I'm glad they're not in the champions league this year, I wouldn't want to face the prospect of having a team with Kaka, Ronaldinho and Pato in the same attack. It's so weird seeing Senderos playing for them though...he made so many cock-ups when he was playing for us but now we've sent him on loan to one of the most prestigious clubs in the world.

I'd gladly have Podolski at Villa if Real don't want him.

Oh wow. An American soccer fan, I'm impressed. ;)

We don't just follow the Premier League. I, for one, watch pretty much everything (except for the Greek football, maybe). You should post here more often.

So anywho, I don't see getting rid of Raul happening anytime soon, Luke's got a point. But yeah, he's definitely not playing like he used to in the good ol' days.

Congragulations to your team Dean...they pretty much outplayed my team all over the pitch.

Sucks though...can't believe we couldn't build on the great week we've had. Oh well, back to crisis talk it is.

I'm beginning to think a revolution is round the corner for my team. I don't think we'll win anything this season and I think that could ulitimately see Wenger's departure aswell as several players. I don't know if it will be a bad thing or a good thing because at the moment we are completely in limbo and change certainly needs to come. A club like ours can't go this amount of time without a trophy. Steve Sidwell summed it up nicely: teams don't fear Arsenal anymore.

I thought we might be elevated after the fantastic win against United last week and the brilliant performance by the kids midweek but in order to win the title we need to be beating teams like Fulham, Hull, Stoke and Villa and shouldn't be played off the pitch at our own ground. I hate to say it but I fear Wenger's stubborn principles could cost this club dearly. I know it sounds ungrateful considering he's the best manager we've ever had and has done so much for us and English football in general, but we live in times when success means everything in football and 3 years without a trophy is just not good enough.

I can't believe it was only 4 years ago we were one of the most feared teams in the world. I love seeing amazing young talent like Fabregas being braught through as much as anyone but I'd also love to see some well established players who are willing to take the initiative and power this team through to success because at the moment we have a midfield that's too young and a defence that lacks organisation.

cheers ref.. spoilt the game just after 18mins by sending our centre back off.

fucking tit.. it was no where near a foul never mind a red card. he was the only person in the ground that even saw the offence.. the FA keep sending shitty ass refferees to League One games and something needs to be done, im pig sick of it.

dont get me wrong, Im quite proud at the fact that i usully side with refs 'cos they do get a boat load of stick week in week out.. but dear me.. saying he had an off day on saturday wouldnt even come close.

the way i see it no is that Southern Club (big or small) get away with A LOT more than what Northern Clubs do.. and this was a classic case on the weekend. im truley disgusted at his performance on Saturday.

and 'cos our League is really tight this season.. i wouldnt be surprised if that spoils our season by not msking the pay-offs or whatever later on next year.. as you can probaby tell im fumming at this.. i feel better now though :)

Martin Laursen is the Danish player of the year. Just one more indicator of how much he's turned his career around, from being on the verge of having to retire less than two years ago. Ignore the fact that besides Christian Poulsen his nearest competition was apparently Bendtner.

As usual, the Netherlands win while France doesn't.
And Domenech is happy just because France didn't take a goal as in the 8 last games...

I'm actually embarassed at the amount of Villa fans who are being all "omg Downing is crap" purely because he is picked ahead of Young for England.

It would've been interesting to see if we'd have won with the likes of Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, J.Cole, A.Cole etc. in the team...

I don't even see how it's that big a deal. So Arsenal aren't 'brave' or disciplined enough to win the title... no shit. As for whichever player it is that's been fucking him around, maybe he shouldn't have said that, but the fact that Arsenal have a player who is that impudent doesn't really surprise me and that remark seems to have been more of an extension of the earlier part. While he was the Man United captain I'm pretty sure Roy Keane got away with actually naming players who he simply thought were playing badly without it having any extra detriment to the team on a couple of different occasions. What if Gallas feels he has to go public to have it dealt with? How deep does the rabbit hole actually go?

I just saw that incident where Ben Clark got sent off for no reason for the first time. That was pretty ridiculous.

What did people think of when Iain Hume got elbowed in the head?
