I don't really care for Andy Gray. I hate when former Villa players shit on the club with no reason to.
He's just a shit commentator who does let his personal bias affect his commentating. He was awful tonight, he said something along the lines of: "Now Arsenal need to make Liverpool score to get through" WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN!?
I want to argue about football. Liverpool are lucky cunts when it comes down to it, but then again, playing negative and unentertaining football apparently works well. However, if the ref would have done his job properly it's 2-1 Arsenal. If Bendtner wasn't pathetic, it's 3-1. But as they say, football's not a fair game.
Everyone thinks commentators & the media are against their team. It's fucking stupid. Liverpool fans were shitting on Gray for being biased one week, threatening to cancel their Sky subscription, then the next week praising him for backing Mascherano up in the red card ordeal. Oh and lolol at Bendtner. What a fecking idiot. Oh and Hleb dived. No fucking way anyone would fall over from that. Kuyt is shit and I'd love the penalty to have been awarded. But the fact remains that a 5 year old could've stayed on their feet from that. He ran out of room and just fell over when Kuyt touched him.
The thing with Gray though is that he really does shit on the team all the time, even when there isn't anything to criticise. David Platt is exactly the same... then again, he's mental. Bari a big club? Yes.
Well I don't have Sky for obvious reasons and I've only ever heard Gray talk about the big four or whoever United are playing if he's commentating. Never noticed him shit on Villa, although I'll take your word for it. Who fecking knows though. He's said some increasingly idiotic things lately.
Came in too late for all the drama. Meh. So. Away goal, draw, and while I don't particularly want this sort of defensive footall in all our three matches against Arsenal, it's a good start. Forgive me for being particularly edgy around Arsenal because of some of the horrors last year (different players, mostly reserves, but not the point). And I don't think it's fair to say Arsenal should have won it 2-1, or 3-1. They had much better chances than us, agreed, but it was a case of how well our defense was against their attack. And the scoreline reflected that. We put up a strong front against them. They missed a few good ones (LOL Bendtner and RVP should have scored a few places there) but missed chances are no testament to who is the better team. I think. I don't know if I making much sense here, but eh, I had to get tha off my chest.
nah my dad is a arsenal fan and since leeds arent in the BPL and doesnt make for good conversation, i decided to watch Le Arse this season soooo
I know this is late but Hleb did not dive. Think of all the penalties that someone like Cristiano Ronaldo has gotten for far less than that. Kuyt basicly grabbed Hleb's arm. How the hell is me meant to keep balance while he's running if he's being pulled back? It was a clear penalty. Also I have no idea why everyone has such animosity towards Andy Gray. He's just a commentator, his opinion should mean less than Accrington Stanley having a say in how the premier league should be run.
there was contact. but as if hleb didn't go down easy. just 'cause ronaldo's dived before doesn't mean hleb has the right too. weak argument. I've had my arm fecking dragged to the floor and ive stayd o my feet. Hleb's an ugly, diving, cretinous, hobbit.
You're obviously missing my point, mate. I'm saying that penalties have been given for far less than what Kuyt did to Hleb. Alright, maybe he want down a little easy but a foul's a foul. And actually, I think Hleb is one of our more honest players to be honest. Eboue is the only one who I think needs to cut out the idiotic exageration and penalty chasing.
