Actually is there are any teams to look out for it is indeed West Ham. However if they lose Tevez then hell no.
The only reason anyone will be watching West Ham next season will be to see Tevez and Ashton up front together.
Tevez said he wanted a move to a big european club so I doubt he will be at west ham despite their attempts to keep him.
Apparently United's spending isn't over, they're in for Nicolas Anelka... What the fuck is going on here? They've already spent atleast £48m already, I've never seen spending like this before apart from Chelsea...
I think it's just speculation. FFS the papers were running "Spurs in for Giggs" stories last week. He's a great striker, exactly what we need, but he played for Le Arse and City. A double sin. I think we've more chance of buying Huntelaar. And as for the spending, this is building for the future Alex Ferguson style. He's gonna retire with his "third great team" ready for whoever steps into his massive boots. I don't think there will be many more summers like this from United until someone decides it is time to build another "great side".
No way. Hunetlaar is awesome and all but he's not anything near world class yet. A few more years yet.
Typical England.. it was all set up for them nicely, the captain scoring on the first full internation game gamed at the new stadium - propbaby going to plan and in the last minute they threw it all away..
How Steve McClaren can be in charge of any football team, never mind the national team I will never know. Watching that first half truly made me feel like throwing my TV out the window. Play Carrick for fucks sake. This is me talking as someone who wants to see England do well rather than a United fan.
Robinson is a solid keeper, but you never get that feeling that he is going to make an amazing save but with Foster injured there really isn't an alternative now that Genius has seemingly closed the door on David James.
Robinson isn't a solid keeper at all IMO. In fact we don't and never have had a solid keeper. And Foster is way too overrated. I think Robert Green should be given a chance if there's no hope at all for James.
Green isnt fantastic hes probably as good as Ian Walker was when he was at his peak...or even Richard Wright when he was at Ipswich Town....hell...Robbo is probably the best chance we've got since David Seaman and Nigel Martyn...hell even Tim Flowers!
whoever said play Carrick - i couldnt agree with you more. Lampard is nothing compaired to him in my opinion.. and what was the deal by starting with Smith and Owen? i mean they are good and all, but we had Becks who can flick crosses in for toffee. it only makes sense to play Crouch.. or is that just me? Crouch and Owen. With their experience together at Liverpool they would of worked well. Smith for Owen in the 60th min or something. Wes Brown? wtf?!?! nah not for me.. sorry but hes not a England player Steve McClaren made some massive errors i think.. JJ FOR THE NEXT ENGLAND MANAGER!! my full choice starting team: ------------------Harper------------------- Carragher----Terry---Ferdinand----A.Cole --------------Carrick--Gerrard------------- Beckham----------------------------J.Cole -------------------------Rooney----------- -----------Crouch-------------------------- -subs- Lampard Robinson Carson Lennon Owen Smith Wright-Phillps King Bridge G.Nev Dyer Jenas thats my team - i say Steven Harper needs a go drop Lampard. and wham-bam-thankyou-sam that team will win matches!! its a given
It was myself and Skywalker who said play Carrick instead of Lampard, but Steve Harper? No. My England lineup: --------------------Green------------------- Carragher-----Terry----Ferdinand---Bridge ------------------Carrick------------------- --------Beckham-------Gerrard------------ Joe Cole------------------------Downing ------------------Owen--------------------- 4-3-3 when attacking, 4-5-1 when defending. Owen won't be up on his own as Downing and Joe Cole would support. I think Rooney's form, along with Lampard and Robinson, has really deteriorated thus why he wouldn't make my starting lineup.
i would never start Downing because of his playing style but i would throw him in the mix as a sub though...JCole and ALennon will do good on the wings...
I think the following XI would make a better England team than the current one. GK: Sylvester Stallone (Pretend he's from Everton) DR: Ryan Amoo DL: Cilla Black DC: John Terry DC: Rick Waller MR: Jude Law ML: ... okay, ten players. MC: Steven Gerrard MC: Gareth Barry FC: Ronnie Biggs FC: Michael Owen (When fit, if that will ever be the case again)
