If I were McClaren this would have been my starting team (From the squad he selected): Foster G.Neville Ferdinand Woodgate Barry Dyer Gerrard Lampard Downing Crouch Defoe
14 unbeaten games? hell yeh i do. i dont want to be over optimistic however - because this run of good form has got to come to an end soon. i can see that happening on saturday. although if we do manage to win, we'll throw open the race for the 1st position spot to almost all the clubs mentioned in my first post. whatever the score it will be a cracking match. i went to the club today and got my 'student' ticket and the guy in front of me was told one of the stands was sold out - so im expecting a rather large crowd. lol i can just see it now though. its got 'defeat' written all over this.. the one time Pools do get a big crowd they'll stuff it up
Well, this is still probably the best possible time to play Walsall considering their form in the past few weeks compared to the rest of the season. They aren't scoring many and both teams have good defenses so it'll probably be a draw.
best match i've seen. ever. was birilliant. so much was riding on this match, it had everything, great pass's, goals, dodgy refereeing, fighting (sort of ) and a win! no penalties though, although there were many shouts for them lol from bbc sport this match was better than any world cup match i've seen, any FA cup match, anything! we've got to play Lincoln City in a few weeks but apart from that we have a 'simple run in' to the end of the season yey 2nd!!! considering we were 4th bottom that bloodly fantastic. 41 points out of 45!! 15 unbeaten games, thats good i dont care what you say
Dean, right. Richie Humpheys is a legend. he gets his head down and does his job, we rely on him at important times to. he takes penalties, kinda like a Henry of Hartlepool United, (apart from he's a midfielder/defender) left back at the min) and we got a free kick on the 88th min, and i've never seen a man run so fast to take the free kick. it was something else. it would of beaten any goalkeeper. he would have show Beckham how to do it properly. i swear, one of the best free kicks i've seen, 40 yards out and unsavalbe (i think i just made a word up <---)
Sidwell sunk Villa... anyway, Leeds finally rack up a win and now theres some weird player leakage going about...
Not quite. Hehe. Did you happen to catch this: if you make it even slower, you can see that Henry didn't dive: He strikes again!
