It's just that he's always been an accident waiting to happen when he's played for England.

he doesnt have the nerve for the big stage anyway, screwed up at all his relatively higher profile clubs...honestly speaking i dont think England have any really good keeper since Seaman,Martyn and Flowers

4-5-1? Seriously, McLaren. And despite being a Reds fan, Crouch as the lone striker? No. Just no.
But anyway, who cares about England, France vs Argentina tommorow! *bounces*. Damn Basile for not giving details of the starting team yet. >_<. But considering it's a friendly, I expect a lot of youngsters to play. I'm cool with that, except I hope Roberto Abbondanzieri and Hernan Crespo play, to add that class and experience. It's such a pity Riquelme's retired and Aimar's injured. Oh well. We'll kick some French ass, even if it's a friendly, we haven't been doing too well lately in the friendlies, but then again, what better time for Basile to experiment than friendlies?
Gillette's taking over Liverpool. Woah. That was sudden (sorta), after all the DIC talk. Anyway, the soon-to-be new owners are pretty clear about stuff like keeping Raf, not interfering in strictly club business and recreating the Anfield atmosphere at New Anfield, but I'm still somewhat doubtful. Yanks taking over 'pool. What will we chant now, not USA, USA atleast. Damn, those glass houses, I hope we've not 'sold our souls'

Lampard probably not but Phil Neville is playing left back. I got this lineup off the sky sports news channel.

thats a bad line up i think. IMO that is. Crouch up front by himself? Lamps on the left? you watch, we'll win 6-0 now

I think it's dispicable that Luis Aragones has won his appeal. I think the punishment for his racist abuse against Thierry deserved alot more than a £2000 fine in the first place.

Dyer's probably on the left. The only problem I have with that line up is that we didn't do so well with that central midfield at the world cup.

That has got to be one of the worst games I've seen in my life. But never mind, I'm sure someone will say ''the first 3 minutes were promising''.

the word 'shocking' springs to mind.

the guy at the begining of MoTD summed it up "they are over paid fairies"

And Ashley Cole wasn't even playing.

Well, I remember Foster making a good save, I thought Gerrard played well until he came off, Barry, Dyer, Woodgate and Ferdinand weren't too bad but they weren't great either, and Barton looked pretty good considering he played less than 10 minutes at the end. Unfortunately it seems as if we'll just be playing 4-5-1 until Owen recovers, with no one giving Crouch any real support.

Carragher should have started ahead of G.Neville at right back, ity would make things more interesting
