Whenever teams aren't doing too well they always seem to beat Villa and from there on in their results start to improve. Man City did it last season after losing about 10 games in a row and Birmingham did it the season before. Even if Villa are generally better this season I have a feeling that the same will happen for Liverpool.

I wonder if Wenger informed the team at half time that Bolton were losing 2-0 and a win today would take us to third. Obviously not considering we're now 7 points behind United and Chelski and instead of being fourth as we were, we're now fifth.

I'm really annoyed now because today we could have set in our mark on the premiership this season by going third and within 5 points of United and Chelsea with a game in hand, now even if we win our game in hand and they both lose we'll still be behind them.

We better damn well win on Wednesday otherwise we're pretty much screwed in our European group.

I can't say I didn't see that coming. Oh well, there are worse teams we could have lost to.

What about that for a bloody amazing clearance by Jay Demerit.

    OH HURRAY!
Hm, Dean you were right. However, it was Anfield, I'd be more grattified with an away win...Bordeaux doesnt count because they're crap at finishing anyway.

I think Villa are coming back down to their level now, but I thought Mellberg had put his dodgy form under O'Leary behind him.
In the next few weeks in the league we play teams who are more or less on a par with us, so hopefully we can capitalise.

the next few games for Villa would still need to pick up their games if they want to pick up point because anymore performances like that against Liverpool they may not be able to pick up as many points....

Angel and Baros are out of form, so drop them for Sutton and Agathe. Yes, I said it. I actually want O'Neill to play Sutton even though Angel is fit.

Even though Angel is generally a better player the Spurs match seems to have destroyed his confidence, in the league anyway.
