I'm the only person in it, nobody's joined yet. I put the link up in case anyone wants to take up my offer. It starts with this weekend's games though so you'll have to be quick if you want to play.
I think you need to join soon if you want to, otherwise whatever points you'd get this weekend won't count. Keiran Richardson instead of Gareth Barry? Shaun Wright-Phillips instead of Nolan, Osman, or even Pennant? And to think people are saying McClaren is his own man for dropping Beckham.
I agree that Barry should be in the England squad instead of Richardson but I also think that any England Lineup should include Wright-Phillips. I just wish he'd see the light and leave Chelsea and come to Arsenal.
i personally wouldnt want to pick Wright-Phillips, but i would probably pick Pennent in his place, and definetly Barry deserves a recall along wtih Scott Parker...what i cant understand is why isnt Nolan ever selected?
Revised Premiership Prediction Here was the table prediction I came up with in early August: 1. Liverpool 2. Chelsea 3. Arsenal 4. Tottenham 5. Manchester United 6. Newcastle 7. Everton 8. Bolton 9. West Ham 10. Manchester City 11. Portsmouth 12. Blackburn 13. Charlton 14. Reading 15. Fulham 16. Wigan 17. Middlesbrough 18. Sheffield United 19. Aston Villa 20. Watford After 6-7 weeks into the season I have revised my prediction and here is the new table prediction brought to you by yours truly: 1. Arsenal 2. Chelsea 3. Liverpool 4. Manchester United 5. Everton 6. Aston Villa 7. Bolton 8. Newcastle 9. Tottenham 10. Portsmouth 11. West Ham 12. Blackburn 13. Reading 14. Manchester City 15. Wigan 16. Charlton 17. Middlesbrough 18. Fulham 19. Sheffield United 20. Watford Revised prediction notes: i) I genuinly believe that with a better Left-Back than Clichy and Hoyte and maybe with another winger we can win the premiership. I can see that we're determined to do well this year and we're hungry for trophies. We made a stuttering start to the season but I have a feeling that it will be forgotten history next May. ii) Aston Villa are vertualy incapeable of getting relegated under Martin O'Neil, I think O'Neil will lead Villa to good things this season. iii) Liverpool willuse this season to get used to one and other, right now all the new players don't seem to play as a proper unit but I think next year will be a different story. iv) Andy Johnson will carry Everton to European football this season
You know, aside from the community shield, I've realized something. Everytime I see a Liverpool match live, that is, the complete match, they lose. Its ALWAYS happens! Let see- vs. Sheffield Utd, I didnt see, they didnt lose. vs. Everton, I did see, and we all know what happened. Against Chelski, again I saw, again, the result, is known. I didnt see the Spurs or the Newcastle match completly, so they won. Bolton today- saw the whole thing. And WHU- didnt see it completly, so, again, guess who won? Even in the CS league- couldnt watch PSV Eindhoven, could watch only half of Galatasary, and jup, they didnt lose. So, I'm supporting them by not watching their matches?
I've gotta what Match Of The Day now, everyone's saying Van Persie's goal today was like a candidate for goal of the season.
It'll be a relatively small loss for England, but a massive gain for Ireland. I guess I can understand why Shaun Wright-Phillips was picked even if he hasn't always played for Chelsea, but Downing and Richardson? Come on. Barry might not be that fast but other than that he's better than both of them, and as a bonus he can play at centre-back, left-back, and centre-midfield, as well as on the left wing.
oh damn right it was...a sweet flying one touch volley right down the center of the goal...unbelievable wot
It's not them playing badly, it's just that Aston Villa kick ass with Martin O'Neil as their manager.
