I have to admit, everything seems to be loading a lot faster, but that may just be me XD I like the skin, but a few of my add-on stuff doesn't work, but they'll update eventually. Bonus is they haven't lost my bookmarks like last time I upgraded my Firefox. All in all, I like it EDIT: I think they've solved the problem with lining up on Myspace profiles <3
I love it, Just waiting for FireFTP to get an Update. And I like how when you drop down your recent pages It shows the Described name not just the URL then it next to it.
Downloaded it. I'm loving it so far. I can't believe how much faster it is. O.O Edit: Does anyone know how to get rid of the bookmarks in the url box? It's so annoying when I type a url and I get my bookmarks when I start to type. Not cool. There has got to be a way to disable that.....
Seconded. Also it is bringing up stuff in the url box from my history that I deleted a long ass time ago.
Does Firefox 3 actually pop up immediately when you click on its desktop icon now? That was one of my biggest gripes with Firefox for a long time, that it would take a good 20 seconds sometimes for a browser window to pop, whereas IE opens immediately.
I concur. It's very annoying. And I came to the conclusion that it is slower on dial up than firefox 2 is... which is crappy. I need to know how to disable the browser and address bar history also. And the bookmark thing, it's apt to annoy me.
I looked through Firefox's options and didn't find anything about turning off the address bar thing. I'm sure someone will make an add-on that disables it though.
I've heard there's an extension that changes it back to the old URL-only matches, but I've had no luck in finding it.
Me and FF3 are having a love-hate relationship. She keeps reminding me of things I like, and I tell her to shut up, she just don't comply though.
Just installed it and ehh its the same, nothing different other than the look seeing as some of you have annoying problems i'll see what up in a few hours
If nothing was different, they wouldn't have released it. There's actually quite a bit that's different. You've just got to know where to look for the things that are actually different.
For those of you having extension incompatibility problems, try Nightly Tester Tools to override it. It's possible to disable the AwesomeBar, dunno why you would want to, though. I find it really nifty.
