I didn't mean he sounded like Fred in all of his songs. I just meant he sounded like Fred in "One Thing". (Just a little.) Plus, what's so bad about sounding like Fred Durst? He's not that bad.. is he? :wth: [/b][/quote]
    WHAT?!

He sounds nothing like Fred on that song! Scott's voice is beautiful on "One Thing." Fred's voice always sounds raspy and angry.

:D Just a little. Even my brother said so (when he heard the song). Fred sounds a little more younger than Scott. And sure, Fred's voice is sometimes raspy and angry, but that's only because of the type of music he sings.

Is Fred younger than Scott? I don't even know.

I think you need your ears checked. Scott is an amazing vocalist, Fred Durst is not. Case closed.

I'd listen to other songs besides "One Thing", primarily everything from 'The Greyest of Blue Skies', before diagnosing him as a Durst soundalike.

 I don't need my ears checked! lol I said they sound alike just a little. Sure, Scott is an amazing vocalist--Fred isn't that bad either (I don't think). Everyone is entitled to their own opinion--so yeah, case closed. ;)

Keep in mind I only said they sounded alike in that one song. I never called Scott a Fred Durst soundalike. I haven't really heard any other Finger Eleven songs--I'm sure they sound much different than Limp Bizkit.

It's just that I don't see how, in any way, he sounds anything like Fred Durst. That's my opinion. But hey, I didn't say you had to change your opinion. I was just stating mine, which is that I think they sound nothing alike. I also used laughing smilies, so I wasn't chastizing you. ;) Sorry if I sounded that way.

Now go listen to the rest of this great band's music! You'll be very surprised. :)
