Italy vs. Slovakia was by far the best game of the tournament so far, also with some of the best goals. I was laughing my ass off when Italy lost.
That first half was not good at all. The second one was better and Robben is coming back You can still see that he is afraid of getting injured again but that is normal.
This is actually great, every time they are brilliant in the group stage, they fuck it up in the knockout round. I think they can actually go all the way this time.
Fuck yes! Italy are gone. I feel this years world cup is a chance for the overlooked countries to take the spotlight for a while. We all know Portugal are a good team, and Brazil and stuff, but I feel this year we could be maybe seeing a winner who, isn't....if you know what I mean.
TEAMS THAT ARE THE UNDERDOGS: Uruguay, Mexico, Korea Republic, Ghana, Japan, Paraguay, Slovakia, Chile. TEAMS THAT FUCK SHIT UP EVERY WORLD CUP: Argentina, USA, England, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, Portugal, Spain. Looks like we might just end up having one of those "underdog" teams near the finals.
Yeah, usually there are at least one or two. But Brazil, Argentina and possibly Germany don't fuck up as often as the other teams there, and just a couple of tournaments ago the USA got to the quarter finals when I doubt many people expected them to. It's hard to split the remaining teams into just two categories, I'd say it's more like Perennial favourites: Brazil, Argentina, possibly Germany Underachievers: England, Netherlands (on current form one of the favourites), Portugal, Spain Underrated: Uruguay, Ghana Underdogs: Slovakia, Japan I know that's not all of them but even that way it's tricky to categorise them all. But back to the original point before I ramble too much I think Ghana will do the best out of all the teams not in the top two groups though.
Thats a better list. I think that there is a chance that one of the underrated and underdog teams will get pretty far.
