    Kanye West, Beastie Boys, and Run DMC are the only artists in the genre that truly deserve my respect.

    I'm not a big fan of rap so obviously I haven't looked into the underground scene. My favorites:

    Eminem - great lyrical skills when he decides to put it to use
    Twista - anyone that can talk that fast deserves some major props

    Eminem & D12
    i like other rappers too, don't think I'm just into D12 & Eminem, but I started to listen to hip-hop because of them.
    besides them, my farites are: NWA, Run DMC, Dr.Dre, Ice Cube, El Bahattee (he is from Croatia so I don't expect you to know who is he)

    I mostly don't like hip-hop, but Eminem is pretty good to listen to sometimes. Also, Mike probably won't count as a hip-hop artist but he's still my favorite MC with the best lyrics. ^_^

    I can't really tell what's hip-hop and what's not (forgive my daft-ness), but I like Eminem, D12 and B.E.P..
