This literally sounds like anything else you can hear on the radio. I've never hated Fall Out Boy (they have a few decent songs), but this is nothing but Pop garbage.
Really dig the track. Has some what of a same feel that Light Em Up had, but with a spunkier vibe. I typically buy music from my favorite artists and occasionally songs that tickle my fancies This is definitely a song I'll purchase and if they keep this awesomeness up, I'll add them to my favorites.
Fall Out Boy is one of the few bands that I prefer go pop. It seems that they're more comfortable making music like this, and it seems to Patrick Stump's passion.

Immortals is definitely one of their poppier songs, if not their poppiest yet, but that doesn't mean it's bad. I'm really enjoying it so far. It really isn't surprising to me that this is the track that's being used in the new Disney movie.
I have been enjoying Fall Out Boy very much since they released Save Rock and Roll, but unfortunately I'm not a fan of Immortals. I hate the response "sounds too generic", but I honestly don't know what else to say for my dislike. Its fine, I don't expect their next album to sound exactly like this new track.
From what I've heard, Immortals was written specifically for Big Hero 6, so that's where it's incredibly poppy sound comes from. Follow Broman's example and don't expect their sixth album to sound like this. It'll sound more like Centuries.
FOB have always made incredibly good pop, I'm glad they took that break and ended up coming back more respected than they left, I hated seeing a quality act like them tainted with the "emo" label and being known for some of their not as good singles.
So much symbolism. Also, lol @ Rick Ross
