As a Linkin Park kid who HATED Fall Out Boy way back, I'm pleasantly surprised and love the new song. I think it's the maturity in me, but I'm starting to appreciate FOB. That said, lol 2 Chainz
^ I used to think the album cover was totally wtf-worthy, but hey, Patrick Stump's explanation was pretty good. To be honest, I was not really a fan of FOB (although I liked "I Don't Care") but I replayed the shit out of Patrick Stump's Soul Punk solo album. I've never even listened to that "Sugar, We're Going Down" song people claimed that brought the band to success.
I think the only reason why you'd think it is wtf-worthy is because there is seemingly no link between album title and art. That said, the image itself it quite good, better than that of LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS.
Right - so I've gotta admit that they've been pretty catchy thus far but I still don't understand where in the fuck they got their album title from. -- Edit: I really don't know what to think of this tracklist. Who the fuck is Foxes? Who the fuck is Big Sean? Why the fuck is Elton John on a song? Isn't he like 100?
Isn't "The Phoenix" the best thing ever? Fall out Boy definitely have changed their sound. We can definitely say this now. Although, these two singles are somewhat special! They got it from the 11th track, silly
They've changed their sound, and it isn't necessarily bad but for it to be associated with that album title is horrid (at the current time).
Ugh, can't believe we got FOB back and had MCR leave. This album is sounding more uninspired than Folie A Deux.
Pretty much this. If an album is going to state "Save Rock and Roll", then I want some qualities in the album that will save rock and roll. If that's too much to ask for, then maybe it shouldn't have that title.
