Evolution EP [October 2010]

Mine just did. At the worst possible time. I have to rebuild a project with two demos.

 

I am going to have a break right now, so I'm not going to be working on anything at the moment but I will finish working on Evolution on the weekend. So expect previews this weekend.

 

Previews? What are they? (jokes on how I never used previews)

 

Evoltuion? You're already working on your Reanimation? Damn man. Stay focused.

I changed a little bit on the cover. Minor changes tho. Blurred the center image and new text position.
Anyway just some my thoughts actually.

Thats cool Anthony. I'll use the promotional poster, because 28thART is actually finishing the album cover right now.

 

Any updates?

 

I've listened to what I've got so far, and to me I''m not sure if Resuscitation fits in with the rest of the album.
What I am going to do is replace the track, and if I run out of time to do so then the track will be dropped unfortunately.
Be Simple and Atmosphere, and what I've finished of Evolution follow the same line of sound, but Resuscitation just doesn't....

 

I see. If you still have the project file, change the bass and ska plucking to some crazy techno synths and pads.

 

YOU'RE OUT, AND YOU'RE IN!

Unfortunately Resuscitation hasn't kept its place on the EP, as it didn't fit with the rest of the album and to me felt out of place when listening to what I've come up with to date and so the track will not be released as part of the EP. Instead I've created a short interlude track which will open the album.

Or release RESUSCITATION as a bonus track? I quite like that one.

 

Yes. I do think the poster should be changed.
As for the moment Resuscitation will not be released on the EP.

 

It's a good track but if it doesn't make the final cut, no big deal.

ITS COMPLETE!

After about two months of work, half of it being done behind the scenes I have now finished my first ever EP, and I've done so with a lot of time to spare. This means that from now until the release date I can tease you with previews. Not only that, but I am going work on more tracks, any other tracks that I can finish and that are good will be put on the EP, but I am not going to announce any other tracks unless they are 100% finished as I don't want to suddenly run out of time and not have the track done.

The process has begun, Evolution - November 6
