Wow, big let down from SW:ToR (BioWare/LucasArts), no demo even though there was all the talk about it. Disappointed, at least the rest of E3 was great. Hope BioWare release something soon explaining why there was no demo shown to the audience even though the devs and project related people said there was going to be. :\
Is it just me or is Nintendo hell-bent on flooding the market with pointless peripherals? Seriously, the Vitality Sensor?
This is the company who released the 64DD. They've set a benchmark in that area that other companies are often too happy to aspire to.
L4D was at store $60 at release and $50 now on steam. It had 4 maps, 4 characters (8 technically,if you count zombies to play) It essentially has 4 guns, and 2 different bombs. the L4D patch that would be free DLC isn't alot, it serves to milk the player base into being happy with being given something. The player-base thought there would be much more DLC. L4D came out only a year ago. L4D2 will cost just about the same. Priced as a new game nonetheless.
I'd highly recommend getting one, Natal, Social networking, more avatar games, friend lists and a great community. Plus tonnes more. <3 Xbox and Microsoft.
I really want to sell my Wii and get an Xbox. Seriously, nothing coming our for the Wii that I want. The DS? Yeah, that's my favourite console. Wii, though, nope.
For me, from what i've seen, The Conduit looks awesome for a Wii title, but if you put it on any other console it wouldn't get any hype. It's a generic alien shooter, it's just that the Wii has no hardcore games so this gets attention. Also, i'd say the DS counts as a console, personally, though still, it's my favourite. By the way, this game has been picking up hype lately, which makes me happy because it always sounded awesome and now it's getting attention: http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/05/hands-on-scribblenauts/
Nintendo might as well just focus on handhelds now. It seems like most other companies haven't been bothered with releasing genuinely good games on their consoles since the N64. It's a shame, but it's something they'll probably have to face at some point.
