I really don't think Wake Me NEEDS remastering. Even though it was the first Grey Daze album the recordings were very professional-sounding, if you compare the 3 songs the albums have in common (Hole, What's in the Eye, and Sometimes), the Wake Me versions are pretty much superior. No Sun Today sounded kinda rushed or like they didn't have enough money to record at the best studio in town, and these remastered tracks really help remedy that.

another thing, this remastered package is missing "Soul Song," of which I think is the best song on the original album.

Did you even read the article? The rest of the songs will be posted eventually.

I was going to wait till they all came out but a lot of people were asking for them so I figured what the hell. :)

Are the songs in the mp3 zip file tagged with LPAssociation.com? If not, that's kinda defeating the purpose of us tagging them with our website name in the first place.

Damn, I didn't even think about that. I just have them automatically named when ripping CD's so I forgot to do that. I can re-do it if needed. Just need to add the [lpassociation.com] at the end, right?

Honestly, the m4a AACs were 128kbps, so while its nice to have mp3s of the songs, its pointless for you to encode at such a high quality as its literally just a transcode as ripping a 128kbps file at 320kbps does not improve the quality.

I'd recommend doing the mp3s at a lower quality to lower the size of the zip =). It's up to you though.

Transcoding to a higher bitrate file will result in lower quality than the 128 AACs

Okay, bitch about me trying to help people out. I figure you can't really tell a big loss in quality though to be honest from listening to both versions. I guess some people are anal about that though. I figure if it's listenable, then it's good.

Whoa man, nobody's bitching here, they said they appreciated what you were doing.
They were just trying to help you out, and save you some file space.

Quoted for truth. Please do not assume we are bitching you out when we are not, musicphreke.

"Bitching out" would include a warning. You received none, therefore it was an innocent suggestion.

Sorry dudes. I wasn't really being serious. I was merely messing around, but you can't tell on the 'net. My bad! My apologies. I have ripped the files in 128kbps quality and will re-up later. I have to head to work for now. Someone else may be me to it by then.
