I can't believe they're still making downgraders and everything. Haha, I remember when I had the 1.1 PSP and needed to downgrade to 1.0, but they hacked it so you could play games on the 1.1 PSPs. I've sold mine since then...

I thought there were 1.1's and then there were the 1.5's? Or was it 1.0 > 1.5 > 2? I was quite sure there were 1.1's... but I may be mistaken. That was a couple years ago I think.

Ah. I remember staying up all night in the IRC chat to play games on my 1.5, and you had to do the swap trick. It was so amazing, ha ha.

ahh, has anyone managed to figure out how to change their XMB sounds without getting a huge output file? I tried, and my output size was well over 1mb, and it should be under 300 kb i think.

    nvm, got it.

So can anyone fill me in on this wave stuff? I haven't been able to find much about it.

My friend says all I have to do is just replace a file in flash0, but I kinda don't trust him [he's bricked a few psp's before, lol].

lol, yeah, all you have to do, is download a wave, and you dont even need to get into recovery mode or flash0, you just need to get Wave Flasher V3, that flashes the waves for you. Here are some links to the wave flasher and a wave that I like.

My PSP is completely customized now lol. I have:
    Custom Waves
    Custom Icons
    Custom Gameboot
    Custom Font
    Custom XMB noises
made camera and network update do nothing when clicked on
I can also play music while playing a game.

Feel free to ask on how to do any of those things.

Ah, sounds awesome. I'll download it this weekend when I finally have time.

How do you customize the wave after you've downloaded one? Easily possible or not?

Im not sure, I havent tried to make my own :p, but I dont think its that hard, theres a tutorial somewhere, and im pretty sure theres a program that injects a texture into a wave.
