Watch this space for updates! I'm currently trying to copy over the .iso, which is pretty much the .daa renamed, I guess. Wonder how that'll work out. *shrug*
*shrug* There should be a guide written for it somewhere. Apparently my image of Tomb Raider is compressed, so yeah. I'll figure it out later. For now, Google owns.
I just downgraded today. Its awesome! I have FFVIII as an eboot on there, and I have a GBA emulator, MAME Emulator, and SNES emulator too. I also downloaded the Ratchet and Clank Demo, but it dosnt work. It just goes to connecting, connection failed (my internet and everything works fine). Also, Im downloading Loco Roco now.
How did you manage to get FFVIII? I've been trying and it won't fit, too big of a size. How big is your memory stick?
Ah damn, mine's only a 512mb card. I really need to invest in a new stick. Anyone makes a penis joke and I'll raise hell.
lol, Im sure that you can get other PSX games to compress more, cuz Final Fantasy games are pretty big. Oh yeah, BTW, you can try and play ISO's without a UMD inserted, by doing this. Hold R and turn on your PSP, go to configuration, Use NO-UMD, click X and you will enable it, I dont know if it will work though
Ah, I knew about the recovery menu, but I never knew there were configurations in there, I always thought it was just for recovery incase of near-bricking. Although, Burnout now takes a while to initially load, hmm. -edit-- Yeah, with NO-UMD on, Burnout takes a few minutes to load, with it off, it instantly loads. I think I'll keep it off, considering I don't mind carrying Twisted Metal: Head On around with me ... just in case, y'know. Although, the other configurations I found were useful, such as 'skip SCE logo', 'hide corrupt icons', 'free umd region' and the 2 registry hacks for flash and wma. Wonder where I can find plugins...
