i know too many ppl who smoke, yes, maybe it doesn't affect all people the same, but my grandmother died when she was 54 just because she smoked a lot. my uncle died of lungcancer, because he smoked. i know the effect isn't the same on all people, but my experience with people that smoke doesn't tell me any good.

 

I haven't had any good experinces with smoking either, only ones of sickness and death...so obviously I have a very negative view of smoking...

 

It's not Chester's fault if some teenie fan starts smoking because he does. That's the own persons fault, not Chester. So that reason is kind of pointless, imo.

Chester isn't going to quit just because the fans want him to. He should, but he won't. It's not that easy.

 

If Chester wants to smoke, let him. I mean, no offense, but who are you to tell someone what to do? [Not directed to anyone, just that I've seen lots of threads [Not in this forum] trying to tell Chester to quit smoking] If Chester chooses to smoke, for whatever reason, than he has the right to. I personally don't care for cigarettes. I am allergic and I'm pretty sure cigarettes won't help cancer. But again, its his choice.

Technically they are. Legally they aren't.

Anyway, I've never knew my grandparents (father side) because of cigarette (the 2 died of lung related-diseases in their 50s) so I can't say I support this... Even if it's "good" for his voice...

By the way - his smoking does matter. Whether it affects his singing or not, it's still affecting his health.

 

No, it's a personal choice, so it doesn't matter..it is Chesters health so u shouldn't worry!

 

What if he suddenly developed lung cancer or something? Wouldn't you care? Chester has already had enough bad luck with his health, there's no telling what might come next. I care about his smoking because I care about him and the rest of LP. It is up to him, and nobody can change that, but I still wish he wouldn't. Enough said.

 

My grandmother died two years ago from smoking..I miss her very much, I went to go vist her grave today. I hate it when people smoke, or do any other sort of drug. It saddens me...

 

I know exactly how you feel...I've lost people dear to me too...it really upsets me when I see some of my friends smoking or doing drugs.

 

Yeah, it upsets me too when someone smokes. If it were up to me, the world would be cigarette free. But than again, you cannot change the world into a way that is fitting for you. So cigarettes will be around and smoked until I finish my evil plan. :chemist:
