Ugh. I think Doctor Who has been ruined for me. But it has nothing to do with those clips, just so you know.
Doctor Who did it. When you start a program at the 5th season, you hold it up to those standards, then to go back and watch it from series 1 and have to see scenarios with the Daleks over and over again, it's a bit lame. I enjoyed the Dalek episodes in the 5th season because they seemed new to me but now I'm really sick of story lines with Daleks. I actually couldn't bring myself to re-watch anything after the first episode of series 5.. meh. Hopefully, no Daleks in season six, they're overkill.
There won't be. I mean, they'll appear at some point but that's because Terry Nation's estate will only let the BBC ever use them if they appear at least once a year. But there are ways around centering a plot around them, such as using stock footage for a flashback or something, and apparently that's what's happening this time. That and the way their episode last year ended means that hopefully there won't be any more "All the Daleks ever have been destroyed - oh wait there were a couple hidden down the sofa and now they're trying to create a new race of Daleks" plots.
Yeah, I did read that there wouldn't be any classic enemies in Series 6, I think. (something along those lines. btw sorry if that's a spoiler. )
I think what was said is that enemies from the old series that haven't already returned in the new one won't be used this time, when each previous year at least one has been brought back. Spoiler Cybermen are in it this year and apparently so are the Sontarans .

Low long can the webisodes be expected to be? Also, wil there be regulars such as the Doctor, Amy, Rory, Mrs Song, etc?
Probably not that long, and probably not. From what I can tell I'm guessing it's backstory for what happens this year before the Doctor gets involved.
There's a nice double-reference there with the girl's phonecall being captured by the tape recorder. It's both a callback to the first couple of episodes Moffat wrote and a riff on some of the things Nixon got up to while while he was president. That and maybe it ties in with the 18 minute gap/silence in the Watergate tapes. The girl's accent is awful though, haha. It seems to go between three or four different things.
