 That's a very good example! I haven't seen him on TV for the past year!

Also to Derek's comment, what would Joe Hahn do when LP tours? he can't just be there for the album, or is LP just gonna stop touring for Joseph Hahn, or Chester Bennington, or any other band member LP's fan's ( or? ) try to associate with going solo or leaving LP. Can we just enjoy the FREAKING moment with our FAVORITE band that has given us SOOO many memories, friendships, and for some of us, careers? I'm sorry to come off rude, just, in my personal honest opinion, threads like this make me want to puke. But that's my opinion against the 6 pages already posted, so I guess i'm wrong. :rob:

If Chester does a solo album, he doesn't need to tour and go all out - it can just be some side album thing. I mean, he's already writing his own music.

I wouldn't mind if any of them went solo - more music for us.

Hmm I think he would go touring though, look at stonesour and the murderdolls. Apparently they are bigger in europe than they are in america, so theyve toured alot in england and other places.....
I doubt the same thing would happen to chester and lp though

What do those bands touring have to do with Chester's solo tour idea? Nothing. Stay on topic, pretty please with sugar on top.

LP have already toured in Europe and are about to go there again.

Chester going solo would not ruin anything. Him going solo doesn't necesarily(spelling?) mean he would release 4 singles, and tour after the release.

He would most likely write the album while on tour, and on their off-time. Then maybe release 1 single(where Joe would probably be the director). He wouldn't go on tour or anything.

The only times you would probably hear his music live is when he might do a song or two of his own when Linkin Park are on tour. Instead of doing a special cover like they have in the past, they would do one of Chester's solo songs as a special treat to the crowd.

hmm yeah that sounds more likely and quite cool, i think chester needs to be with the guys or he would get lonely on the road, they all have a laugh as it is... i make it sound like i know them :S

    Thanks, Bryan.

Chester already does some special song by himself every now and then on the tours, so what difference would it make doing a song off his solo album if he ever did one?

I think that maybe in a couple of years, after the band finished recording songs, that maybe Chester could go solo. Currently, he is involved with a band who's supposedly making more dvd/cd combos, performing concerts, and working hard with LP. So if he is going to go solo, he should wait a couple years.

How about this... You all grow up and realize that this topic is stupid and the person who started it is now banned. I think that this should be closed. Besides Chester isn't a cheap money grabbing freak who will use a band for a year than go off to make money on his own until he sells out at which point is then overplayed on MTV2 until he becomes famous again. Save that for the other crappy bands. Chester is staying.

That's 3 times you have flipped out man. If this keeps up you might end up like the author of this topic.

    that was hostile.

I don't think Neil was flipping out, and I think he had reason to say what he did, personally. Have some faith in LP, you guys! I honestly don't believe that if Chester went solo, the rest of the band would split.

I didn't mean that LP would continue without Chester, I meant that if Linkin Park ever decided to take a break, spend some time at home or w/e and Chester still felt like recording then he could possibly go solo. I doubt he will, but if he did it would NOT be the end of the world to me!
