Of course Chester can make a whole album with just him. Dude, do you think it's going to just be a bunch of tracks of just Chester singing alone, acapella style?

If you guys haven't already noticed, he's done stuff outside LP:

He did a song with Cyclefly and a solo song on a soundtrack.

He can do it and it would definitely be cool.

We got word in a chat from a close friend of Chaz that he's thinking of doing a solo album. Even if he did I don't think it'll end up being that successful (other than for the teenies) because you'd be taking the main ingredient from LP and putting it by itself. That's not cool.

And who said that just because he goes solo, LP would get another singer? That's dumb. LP would probably support Chaz on tour if they ever went on tour, lol.

No....I don't think he should...the whole "going solo" thing tends to ruin great bands....besides.....it wouldn't be LP if he left (or if anyone else left)

 

They were both damn cool songs I think him and mike should both do some more colabs and soundtracks they are usually amazing .... erm :S is the michelle branch craig david ja rule thing for charity still hapening??? :| :| :| :| :chemist:

 

I think he could do it if he wanted to, just as a little project, nothing serious, no tours, nothing. Maybe he just wants to proove to the world that theres more to his voice than mostly screams.

I totally agree. I really hate critics. They're good for resturants and some movies, but they should stay away from music.

You've made a few mistakes...

Your first mistake was double-posting, don't do it again. There's an edit button for you to edit your first post. We're not like the crappy LPMB where you can post 13 times in a row.

Your second mistake was saying "don't even bring the topic up." That's what the forums are for. They're for discussing things out of the ordinary, such as Chester going solo.

No way. Chester has a great voice but I think his singing complements Mike's rapping really well. I'd still listen to him and buy his albums even if he DOES go solo, but it'd be a shame. I like Chester but I love Mike. And I want to hear both their voices in the same song.

Have you ever heard "Breaking The Habit" or "System"?

I'm sure Chaz would do JUST fine by himself.

Besides, if Chaz put out an album, LP would probably wait to do one with Chaz again just so he could tour. I think it would be cool.

 

I think he could do really good by himself. But if he did, he shouldn't do nu-metal, he should do hard rock, like STP, Alice In Chains, Grey Daze, etc. type of influences. Maybe even get back together with Grey Daze. I'd love to hear Chester solo.

But LP still is awsome.

You guys seriously need to stop worrying; why would LP depart if Chester went solo? It would be a great little project where he can break away from the LP-style and do his type of stuff he's been wanting to do, as Sean said in that one chat.

I don't understand how you guys say he shouldn't go solo and then say you'd buy his sh*t anyway. You guys love contradicting yourselves?

Everyone in here would be the first to buy his solo album; and this goes for any LP member.

 

It would be ok it Chester went solo but not leave the band, like put out a solo album but still be in LP and never leave
