I think that the band Disturbed is one of the last 'true' metal bands out there. They stay true to the term 'metal'. I believe that they are the next Black Sabbath of our time. Don't get me wrong, I like Linkin Park, and others including Korn, Godsmack. Any thoughts/opinions? Do you like/dislike them?
I really like disturbed, alot of people knock their second album but i think it is great. Can't wait to hear some new material.
They're one of those bands that you could definately tell apart from other radio bands. I'm not a big fan of Prayer, but Down with the Sickness, Stupefy, Voices, Liberate, etc. are all pretty good.
Disturbed are a pretty cool band, but David Draiman's voice takes some getting used to. I love "Voices", "Liberate", and "Remember".

I watch Fuse (muchmusic Usa). There are alot of metal bands out there yes but the number is cut down alot because over 95 percent of them are 'screamers'. They don't really sing, they scream. Screaming gives me a headache lol. Slipknot is a screaming metal band (minus their new album which has actual singing in it). MTV is not Disturbed friendly lol.

Some metal bands that don't scream, wail, or growl. Great bands too. You should check out some of the bands I put in my sig. (even though they're not there now), but check out Iced Earth and tell me what you think of them. They're the only band I can really think of right now that doesn't scream a lot in their songs, but you can't tell me Disturbed doesn't.
I like Disturbed. They are one of my favorite bands, although my brother likes them more than I do. My favorite songs by them are Prayer, Voices, Stupefy, Remember, Awaken, and Down With the Sickness. David Draiman has a really neat voice, IMO.
iced earth is good i enjoy their music... David Draiman IMO doesn't really scream at all like some do. He really does have a gifted voice as that is proved in the song Darkness from Believe. I like how he accents his voice on the more rougher vocals. Like i have said, Rock/Metal is a dying breed. Only a few bands are true to rock. It is sad though
Disturbed has a great lyricist, but I honestly think that's all they have going for them in my opinion. I grew tired of their music, it just got annoying and repetitive.
hahaha david draiman is f***ing HOT! anyway they are one of my top three favorite bands...although it is not that hard to figure out the other two. my favorites on the sickness are voices, the game, stupify, down with the sickness, enemy, and meaning of life. my favorites on believe are liberate, remember, intoxication, rise, mistress, and darkness.
