See I think GATS is great, but War, MTG, and ALITS, while fun tracks, are all things that I could hear other bands doing. They sound more derivative of other material that's been done in better ways. Maybe I shouldn't have called ALITS boring -- I just find it to not be as interesting sonically. I completely agree with you here. I became very concerned of this after hearing the demos for LT and loving every one of them more than their respective LT songs, especially Three Band Terror and the I'll Be Gone demo (forgetting the name). Even stuff like the Final Masquerade acoustic version proves to me that they could be FANTASTIC.
I'm totally fine with THP, but while that album is super fun to listen to, I do feel the guys (with Rob as an exception) is just not as exciting in the heavy context, instrumentally speaking.
Going to listen to it now. He's said that it was recorded in September, so there won't be any news or anything announced unfortunately.
The past has been revised. "One Step Closer" was inspired by label drama and not "Runaway"-related frustrations. Take notice.
It's actually pretty interesting. The guy keeps adjusting the volume every time they play one of the songs though...
Was quite disappointed at this interview really, it felt kind of rushed, Mike couldn't speak enough with the guy playing a song every 5 seconds.
