Than was my indiscrete way of you casually revealing what poem was yours.

    Now you ruined your chance.

 Nope, I didn't write either of the top two. I wrote number 12.

If we were allowed to say which ones we wrote.

    Competition review by me.

    Disclaimer:
This is just my point of view. Not knowing who wrote most of this poems this is nothing personal either. You don’t have to read it if you don’t feel like it. Have a nice day. :D

    Entry One
Obviously written by a talented female (or male homosexual) writer who was too fucking lazy to take more time and turn this poem into a masterpiece. Well, there’s always a next time. ;)

    Entry Two
Too much forced rhyming in my opinion. And why the fuck did you have to mention government? Nonetheless there were some pretty good lines like those about the bus.

    Entry Three
"Emotional swords slash my soul…" A great piece of work. It almost made me cry. :(

    Entry Four
Among the top 3 in my opinion. Rhyming doesn’t feel forced at all and it flows nicely. Whoever you are, your poem inspired me to write some lyrics of my own. ;)

    Entry Five
"Sunday morning rain is falling…" No, wait… That’s Maroon 5… I felt some raw emotion in this one. Good job ;)

    Entry Six
Too dark and too confusing. Not my cup of tea.

    Entry Seven
Good job Minus. I respect your work a lot. This is one of your better pieces. :p

    Entry Eight
I had a picture of you in my head trying to dig your way out to the surface, yeah. Pretty good work, yeah.

    Entry Nine
The winner. What more can I say. Great imagery. Great message. Congratulations! ;)

    Entry 10
I think Adema might want to borrow your lyrics for a song of theirs. No bad but I feel like it’s written by someone who just started writing. Sorry if I’m wrong. B)

    Entry Eleven
Masterpiece for sure. Whoever wrote it is a fucking talented writer. The story is amazing in this one. How the fuck did that cross your mind?

    Entry Twelve
My favorite. I voted for this one. I kept reading it over and over and over again. Fucking amazing. It just leaves me breathless each time I read it. Fantastic job! (w00t)

    Entry Thirteen
I didn’t like this the first time I read it. But the more I kept reading it the better it sounded in my head. Great metaphors. Great imagery. :)

    Entry Fourteen
I can’t believe I didn’t win. Yes, this is mine. The longest one. If anyone just took time to read the whole thing I’m pretty sure I would win this without any real competition. Just kidding…

    Entry Fifteen
    And where’s the title?

    i'm so confused...

    anyway, I'm entry 9.

i would like to thank all those who voted for me for liking my poem and giving me an oppurtunity.
i would also like to thank all those who didn't vote for me for taking time out and actually making this competition happen. if it wasn't for all you voters, we poets would have been no where.
i would also thank all my fellow poets, who did such a wonderful job, that made me nearly give up at one point of time. you guys are just fantastic. i'd like to congratulate all those who won and all those who didn't because all of you were just brilliant none the less.
last but not the least, i would like to cheer for the organisers of this competition, GiriosXeni and Uncle Raj, for having this competition and opening this oppprtunity to us poets. we would like to congratulate you on a job well done.
    Hip Hip Hurray! (w00t)

i feel like i'm standing for Mr. Universe...
    thanks everyone ^_^

Oh well, I was hoping people would read it and try to figure it out, there is a very diferent style to it, but it has a good story, I didnt want to write an obvious poem, maybe I gave it to much mystery, next time I will be more straight forward. [I f you guys want, I might post it and explane it in detail]
Anway congrats to entry 9, I voted for you even before the tie breaker thread came about, the poem was awesome!

This is a great idea, we should keep doing it like 4 times a year or something, would be tight!

    Congratulations Arhaz!

    @David

There's the end of the world in your poem as well as in mine. Wierd
