    ahh anyone have an idea of what the artwork on the side represents or means? I think it means something along these lines: "hey this is us; new and tweaked and different, but still LP"

    The song grows on you after each listen. The only think i don't like is the watery effect that you hear after mike sings it just sounds like blubblub. Yes, we'll have to hear the whole song to make our best judgments.

    One of the stems is called "OutroDrums", so this snippet all together could be near the end of the song and it leads into a transition part played by Rob. Transitions would be a nice touch to let the album flow together like one continuous symphony of Linkin Park. This would give the band members an opportunity to lay down some fade in and fade out instrumentals. Chris cornell did an ok job with timbo, but LP can take that approach to a whole nether levall.

    Wasn't it only the Reanimation version was released as a single?
    However technically you're right :)

    I don't really care. I try not to compare a bands work with prior releases. It's their art, they can do what they like. I'll respect any band who try to evolve and go the direction they want, and not stay the same just to please people who can't grow up with them.

    Back in the old days, if a band went completely against the norm and did something unexpected they'd be called progressive rock. Nowadays, if a band changes up their sound they're called "mediocre" or are accused of "jumping the shark".

    The fact is, nu-metal and rap rock is dead. I implore all of you that are still clinging on to hope for a "Hybrid Theory Part 3" to grow up and realize the band has changed, because Linkin Park will NEVER return back to that sound. The band has grown into trying something new, and they aren't about to regress back to the year 2003 when this is now 2010. Like Mike said on his blog, Linkin Park haven't been "nu-metal" since 2004.

    Quite frankly we were told we'd hear a genre-busting sound unlike anything on the radio right now, and that's what we got. This song sounds like nothing I've heard recently and that my friends is a good thing. I'd rather have LP go creative like this, then appease a small group of fans who can't progress with them and instead are still hoping for another Meteora.

    The band grew up a while ago. I can only pray that one day the "HT obsessed" fans will too.

    Quick question, does anyone know if using that online mixing thing is a requirement or can we just use our own DAWs?

    ppl hybrid theory was the best selling album of the decade and maybe even the millenium meteora was close but m2m was never near bcoz 90percent of lp fans are fanboys of htheory

    The Bojam website is horrible and impossible to understand. Feeling frustrated and like a moron. I looked at the how to video from mike and it just says screen grab.
    Is there an idiots guide? I just want to hear what the snippets sound like and how to use the site. It keeps crashing firefox
