    This was kind of a rare thing back then. And it also gave LP their second Grammy with "Numb/Encore".

    Also this was intended to be a series. Linkin Park did so good with this that MTV never did another one. Even though the collaboration was a success.

    way better, you can hear that kind of details which aren't on a CD quality, you hear that the band is sitting in your room and play for you. if you have some vinyls than you gonna laugh on the mp3-cd-radio qualities...
    mp3 files have a narrow quality limit, there is no problem with FLAC, vinyl rips have FLAC/wav format too

    For those interested, I grabbed one on eBay for $40 (the seller had four left after my purchase, and there were a handful of other similar listings). Sadly, my local record store had sold out by the time I got off work and over there.


    This is pretty interesting; I was actually unaware this was supposed to be a series. It's nice to see that it was left alone because of its success, rather than cashed in on.
