Nope. First tour date is in June, I believe. The only track that was previously released is the "hidden" song 'The Escapist,' which was featured at the end of a documentary.
DUDE! *wipes face* nah nah joking ofcourse. I like the cover, I saw it earlier today but had to get used to it, I like it now.
My radio station already premiered it, last month. ;-P (Sorry, if you've seen that weird character Kristen Weig does on SNL you'll know what I'm taking about) Did anyone else notice jubblies on the cover?
I knew that it wasn't an original painting on the cover, it just looked too familiar http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberty_Leading_the_People
Ooooh ofcourse hahah, I've seen this painting at least 3 times in real in the Louvre. How did I not notice? It must be the same thing as me not noticing that these little signs of the LPA3 skin are from the booklet of Mellon Collie, right Omar?
I love the new song! Lots of atmosphere and reverb on the vocals. It sounds like they went for a live-room type of sound. It's more of a rock style for them. It has a pretty good groove to it with a four-on-the-floor drums and guitar solo. I think they've been listening to The Killers. lol I love Coldplay but I'm glad piano or something equivalent doesn't dominate this song. My only grip is that it seems very short to my ears even at 3:49.
I'm listening right now. Damn, I really have to get used to this. It sounds so raw for Coldplay, I'm not sure if I will like it as much as the other albums. edit: Second turn sounds better. It's gonna have to grow on me!
