    I was agreeing with you? I never said he sounded bad on any of those songs, only that those were examples of layering and whatnot.

    I think Chester definitely hit his peak onstage in 2004-2006, before reaching rock bottom in 2008-2009. A Thousand Suns cycle was a little better but I've found in general he's been making a comeback ever since 2012. Sure he's had off nights, but I can find recordings from even his best years where he's sounded below-average. No vocalist will ever sound perfect every night performing what he does.
