maybe the New Divide is actually the Old Divide now, and the real New Divide, who is the New New Divide is the only New Divide ever, and all this time we where living a lie.
I'm struggling to cope with all of this excitement. This past week has just fueled the excitement more. After GATS, it kinda went all quiet for a bit, and I wondered when the next thing was gonna happen. When it did though, it just happened so fast, now we know about the album title, track titles, amazing artwork for the album. My point is, this album cycle is one of my favorites, if not THE favorite. What's this New Divide thing, may I ask?? I've read the previous posts yes but I still don't quite understand it.
I have three guesses on that. One; it could be a typo all together. Two; it could have a new track and it's under that title as a disguise. And twenty nine; it is just a remix or live compilation that we all love to ignore.
More than likely its just a typo and was meant to say "Linkin Park New EP", but someone accidently typed in Divide. Could happen.
Two is most possible, but I doubt they will release another song this fast without any announcement. I'd give it 2-3 more weeks until another track
I feel this way but about ATS. I like ATS, dont get me wrong. But when you have 6 interludes, which leaves you with only 9 tracks, thats not a very good amount IMO, especially for the average lengths of the tracks. And I did not like Robot Boy so that leaves 8 listenable tracks for me.
Chester's description of the album and its direction leaves me even more excited for the album! This could be the heavy LP many of us have been waiting for! I have a feeling that some songs will be a tad softer but still have a lot of energy and excitement in them.
"average lengths of the tracks" ATS is still the band's longest studio album. Even with all of the interludes taken out. And if you take out Robot Boy, it becomes the general length of a Linkin Park album.
Might be a little off-topic but I noticed that we gets news about the album either Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday every week. Since (in my timezone) it's 11am on Monday, maybe we'll hear something tomorrow.
I know if I would say the biggest... I was just joking, please don't present me with facts and try to prove me wrong. But anyways, we've gotten a bit off-topic in the last few posts...
Well last week we got two collab reveals, five official track titles (one new, one renamed from the board titles we discovered), song descriptions, album artwork and a release date, and a new show date with the confirmation of new music pre album release. I wouldn't be too upset if this week was dead with THP related news.
