    Of course you can do without sex for your whole life. It's nothing necessary to the body or mind, though some may think it is. To a certain extent, one could argue that love or affection of some sort is required for mental stability. Studies have been proven that even casual touch stimulates happiness in the brain in humans. That's another discussion though.
