Haha that "dubstep" spoken word part kind of reminded me of Enter Shikari. It's actually a pretty fun track. They have definitely changed their sound a bit.
Sounds like something that belongs on Recharged. Its actually not that bad, but I will say I very much dislike the spoken rap parts, sounds like absolute shit and kills the track. EDIT: The first post has been updated and now contains a link to listen to the track in high quality via BMTH's soundcloud.
It'd be so much better without the "rapping" It is a very fun song to listen to though, once you get past the first minute. EDIT: Is there a guest feature on this song, or is that "rapping" coming from someone else in the band?
That's a featured artist, Orifice Vulgatron, from some group called Foreign Beggars.
I believe so. The whole album was being streamed on BBC1 by Zane Lowe because he is the one that re-scored it. I wouldn't imagine otherwise. EDIT: Put together an edit without the rap. Might not be the best, but better than nothing. https://soundcloud.com/brandon-roman-4/bring-me-the-horizon-dont-look-down-no-rap-edit
Don't look down was actually good! Way better than expected. Aside from the lyrics at the end, that was actually good. I assume it's just for the movie soundtrack and not the album, right?

Here ya go, peeps: Well this song is actually pretty good. Definitely better than Happy Song, in my opinion. It's not really anything new for the band, though. It's similar to Sleepwalking because of its electronic influences, and the lyrics aren't anything special and don't really deviate from what they've done in the past. Still a very enjoyable song, though.
Happy Song is still growing on me, tho I do enjoy it, but Throne is just absolutely amazing. It definitely is something new for these guys, the idea of Oli mainly singing for a whole album has never happened before along with a synth heavy track (Sempiternal was very balanced with guitars and synth). You really hear Oli's inspiration from Linkin Park playing a huge role here, this practically sounds like something off of Living Things. At some instances, Oli even sounds like Chester. These guys have come so far from where they once were. Not quite the experimenters that Linkin Park have grown to be, but they are getting there. Good on them. Never thought I'd be pumped to hear two bands that constantly change their sound from each album cycle!
That Knottsfest lineup is trash. Luckily they are coming to AZ so I don't have to travel! I will definitely be there if tickets arent too much And i love Throne, i'ts so good!!! Sadly, it's an all standing venue though. [expected with a band like them, however] I used to like being on the floor at concerts but now I prefer having a seat so I can leave to go to bathroom between acts, not starve and dehydrate myself.
Final artwork and tracklisting. [THUMB]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/0e/Bring_Me_the_Horizon_that%27s_the_spirit_cover_art.jpg[/THUMB] 1. Doomed 2. Happy Song 3. Throne 4. True Friends 5. Follow You 6. What You Need 7. Avalanche 8. Run 9. Drown (New) 10. Blasphemy 11. Oh No The most interesting thing about this is the fact they're not giving away Drown for free with the album, but they are giving Happy Song and Throne. It's also labeled Drown (New). On Twitter, someone asked Jordan if Drown was different on the album, and he said "yeah, it sounds better". I thought it had just been re-mixed and re-mastered. But now I feel like it might be a re-recorded, new take on the track. Anyway, I like that. I like "Throne". It's extremely safe and poppy, and sounds a lot like a Linkin Park song, but it's fast tempo and the fact it's so dynamic make it so much more interesting than your average pop Linkin Park song. Obviously, this is gonna be the bands most radio friendly album yet, but I hope they bring in some new stuff, instead of just sounding like a band that was inspired by Sempiternal and is now doing their own take on the album.
