Honestly, I’ve never been a fan of Bring Me The Horizon, but today I gave a quick listen to the album and it seems it has potential. I will definitely listen to it as a whole later.
Loving the album. Definitely the most out-there thing they've ever done, but also somehow the catchiest.
This album is the tits. Much respect for stepping outside of their comfort zone. Nihilist Blues is one of my favourite songs released by anyone in the last year or so.
Bold statement. I wouldn't be opposed to it, Oli is only 32, almost 10 years younger than the rest of LP, so if this were to happen it could keep LP around for a little while longer.
I think it makes sense from a lot of perspectives. - Very similar vocal styles (capable of melody and screaming) - Childhood love of the band - Mutual respect between LP and BMTH/Olli - Had him come out for the Celebration of Life concert (I thought he fit very well) - Both bands embrace branching out and doing something new, don't shy away from electronic/trap elements Can see it as one of those Chester and STP things.
Maybe bring him on for a tour or two? Idk, but I definitely would prefer (and it seems to make more sense) for any music made going forward to be just made between the 5 of them with Mike as their front man.
amo is like LP doing ATS and OML at once. Judging from the YT comments, BMTH's fanbase is currently in the same period as LP's was in 2007 and 2010. Personally I like this record, not all songs but in general I enjoy it much.
Nah, I wouldn't want Oli in LP. I'm all in for more BMTH stuff, they really seem to only be starting to really push their sound into something totally new ("i apologise", "ouch"...). While on the other hand, unfortunately, I feel Shinoda & co. have stopped really trying on that front. I'd love to be proven wrong though.
Been listening to their older stuff aswell the past few days and really rediscovering "Hell" mostly. God damn "Crucify Me" still rocks. That said, amo fits into their discography like a glove. Logical next step with their sound.
I am at the point where i dont really want anouther member. Sure, it means many songs cant be played anymore (or atleast not in the original form), but i think Mike is ready to do it.
