the ONE good thing he did for Meteora....
Yep, one and only . And, are you even sure he's the one who decided to ? Breaking The Habit has a lot of potential. If I said I didn't want it to be a single, it's cause it's too soft to come after another soft song. But LFY is making me change my mind .
Your best work is usually done all at once. If you put a song off for a period of time, it won't make it any better.
Yeah, Mike says right on the dvd that Don suggested it
Oh well, thanks . I should watch it over again .
BTH is probably on of my favourite LP songs. If they do more experimental stuff (doesn't have to be this style) like BTH on the album I'll be very pleased. Just get Don outta there!
I meant the lyrics. Mike probably had the most amazing lyrics ever and Don was like, "NO. MAKE THEM CONVENTIONAL LYRICS THAT EVEN MONKEYS CAN UNDERSTAND."
i think da song is tight...im not an all dat hardcore linkin park fan..but from wat i heard its great...i think mike is one of da best lyricist out there...he can beat any rapper out there on da mainstream wit out a doubt....i was feeling the whole theme for breaking a habit...it could have been better but im please wit the song.
It's right ,it's an awesome song!!! But hope they don't gonna recive to much bad reactions from the people "outside"... But it's still one of the best songs ever written by LP.
Yah breaking the habit is a pretty decent song. But i mean i don't really like the fact that it got released as a single. Cause chesters voice sounds way too poppy and the beat and everything in the song makes it sound way too poppy. I mean if it was such a personal song to mike and whatnot they shouldn't have released it as a single as mike originally stated. Especially since numb already got released as a single, that is a good song but at the same time it is crossing the line of being really poppy. But if you look at the songs on Hybrid Theory, One Step Closer and Crawling were fairly hard songs, why the hell didn't LP release songs like Don't Stay or Lying From You as singles. Oh well LP needs to change a bunch of things for their next album if they want to show that they are gonna stay loyal to their core fans and not those damn teenies.
When I first heard it in my honest opinion I thought they could of done better, but then I actually listened to it properly and now I love it
