Brad Confirms New Music

First off, Meteora was NOT a good CD (my opinion). The lyrics were, as Mark said, Bland and Universal. It seemed like a poor attempt at a HT-type CD.

There is A LOT wrong with Meteora, why do you think that LP can confidently pick a fan out of the crowd and have them play Faint? Because there is nothing complex about the song and any beginner guitarist can play an LP song if they practice it. It was definately Not more complex than Hybrid Theory.

Also, its not a matter of respecting you, respect has nothing to do with my(and many other peoples') opinions of Meteora.

I am kind of happy with these news, something like this you usually don't see. If there releasing an album and this also, go right ahead now that's what I call "making music" Not selling it xD.

As for the Meteora HT thing.. htfan or however you name goes, yes people are here giving there opinions that they don't like "meteora" but as much as we sit down to talk about this, there are facts that Meteora was there worst album. *facts to back up that statement , but I am not gonna sit here to discuss about this and repeat history*.

I guess the aniticipation begins, I really wanna see them do stuff again like Reanimation.

Yeah, I doubt that it's Wizard Song, but it still makes sense. It's not a "surprise" in that we already know what it sounds like. It's simply a surprise that they're releasing it at all. Again, that's probably not it.

 

Why the hell are so many people adament on having the wizard song released, it was a f*cking joke, get over it already.

Hybrid Theory and the EP are my fave albums now, because they are so dark (the EP a little less dark, I think), but Meteora was so shallow, maybe the sounds are somewhat cool, but it doesn't have that something HT has. Thanks for being tough with me too...

Ok, I'm sick of this. This is not a BASH LP FORUM. This forum is suppose to be to support and talk about LP, not bash them for what they put out for YOU! Please, STFU about Meteora and how it was or wasn't like Hybrid Theory. They're both great albums in their own way. I'm sick of you guys judging them for Meteora and then waiting for them to come out with something else. If you read the interviews they do, they're constantly talking about changing and evolving their sound, but still being Linkin Park. Why don't you all do what fans are suppose to do, listen to what they have out now, stop judging it, and shut the hell up until their next album (which WILL go Multi-Plat. comes out). Thank you!

secondly, I can say whatever the f*ck I want about LP...last time I checked, I gave my reasoning why and im allowed to have an opinion.

I'm not going to go "LYKE OMG EVERYTHING LP PUTS OUT IS F*CKING AMAZING, NOT ONE SONG THAT HAS A FLAW" because thats a lie and I'm not going to lie, I hate Meteora. Big F*cking Deal. It's my opinion, get over it.

Holly crap this topic should just be closed already. Nobody can start a thread about new music from LP on these forums without somehow going back to and bringing up HT and Meteora. Which in turns eventually leads to people bickering and arguing over the same damn thing that were bickered and argued about 3-4 months ago, and in turn about another 5-6 months prior to that.

 

Don't freak out guys. Remain calm. People are naturally going to refer back to Meteora and HT because that's what made Linkin Park--thats what makes people love or hate them in the first place. Its ridiculous to expect people to not utter a word about their past music. Its all about our ability to accept other people's opinions maturely. Really, this forum has the most closed topics I've ever seen in any forum I've been to, LP and non-LP ones included. Like we need anymore. So if someone freaks out on you, don't freak out back at them, just stay cool! Cheers
