9 weeks is very impressive. Numb was 13 weeks but I don't see what I've Done getting there, maybe 11 weeks. Now they need to release something new as a single.

It kind of makes me wonder why What I've Done is so successful even though most of us fans says its one of the weakest song off the album.

True. But we are not even the 10% of LP's fans.
People have been very open minded with this record, and I think that we disagree because we have been watching the band very closely and we expected something more hard-ish...
I'm impressed with What I've Done too and even tho' Bleed It Out is not an officially a single, it's been in the radio lately, hmmm..

If they put Bleed it Out out as a single I have no doubt that it would surpass WID and reboost album sales. I don't think Given Up will do that so I'm weary of that being the second single.

I was really surprised that Given Up is a single... I mean in rock charts in going to hit #1 easily but in the normal stations LP is played on, I don't think so...

I would change Given Up for Leave Out All The Rest because LOATR will have or be kinda like Numb's success.. Guaranted.

I think Smashing Pumpkins will actually be the highest selling album this year. I wouldn't doubt it.

But congrats to LP for holding so strong on the charts. <3
