Worst: Burn it Down OR LGM OR Skin to Bone (because of the lyrics)

 

Worst: LIES GREED MISERY.
Best: UNTIL IT BREAKS.

love the album from beginning to end. Period

WORST: LGM. It was great when it came out but it's totally overshadowed by everything else on the album. UIB came at a close second because of the randomness of it, but Mike's flow in both his verses are just too sick.

BEST: IMR - thanks to Phoenix.

 

I hav only listened to the album for one day, so my opinion will undoubtedly change over time.

However, here is my list of songs going from favourite to least-favourite:

5. I'll Be Gone
6. Skin To Bone
7. In My Remains
8. Lies Greed Misery
9. Until It Breaks
10. Victimized
11. Burn It Down
12. Tinfoil

It is important to note, however, that I do not dislike any song on this album. The lowest I have rated a song is 6/10, which will probably change. I can imagine Until It Breaks will go higher up the rankings after a few days.

 

The only song I'm not too sure about is BID.

In My Remains and I'll Be Gone have both grown on me, and the rest is awesome.

 

I just still can't get to Until It Breaks and also BID will definitely not be my favourite piece, the rest is great, can't say which song is better or worse.

 

I'll Be Gone is extremely generic for me. I hope it doesn't become a single

 

If we're not including Tinfoil due to its instrumental status:

Honourable BEST: Castle of Glass, Lost in the Echo
Honourable WORST: I'll Be Gone

 

Best- Lost In The Echo (Great raps and catchy, powerful chorus) Now my 2nd favorite LP song after In The End.

Worst- Lies Greed Misery (The chorus is messy and the rap's are some of Mike's weakest, plus the aggresiveness mixed with the upbeat instrumentals is jarring and doesn't work for me) I was underwhelmed when it came out and now that the album has come out I think it's one of LP's worst songs.

Sidenote: I count Tinfoil and Powerless as one song.

 

I don't understand the hate for until it breaks.

 

Best: Castle of Glass or Roads Untraveled

Worst: Skin To Bone, mainly because of the lyrics in the second verse. Yep, that's how specific I had to get to find something I didn't like about this album

 

And I don't understand someone's hate for LITE. That's the lovely originality, everybody's different.

 

Best tracks are Castle of Glass and Skin to Bone.

Worst is I'll Be Gone without a doubt. Terrible.

 

After a few days I really dislike I'll Be Gone too.
