Well, I'm pretty sure David Goyer wrote the script for this film. I've read many interviews from him talking about both this film and the upcoming Blade Trinity which he also wrote and directed. There are a lot of other scripts on the net though, many of them old drafts that were scrapped. This film went through many script changes..well, either this or the Superman film. :wth:
I thought he wasn't directing anymore. He keeps signing on and then leaving it and signing back on again.
I know that he showed the executives at warners last month a vision of his idea of superman and they loved it, I know that they have the same storyboard artist who did the matrix to be on board , and they are trying to get the same special effects team that did the matrix to do this film. but this film is very risky with the costs and all the reportedly crappy scripts .
I read the script as well, couldnt not, and i knopw for a fact it is the script becuase every thing that they have released, all little pieces of infor and pictures and so on go perfectly with the script i read, and even if it is not the real thing... this one is so well written and wonderfully crafted, that they should through out the one they have and go with this one, i personally love this one! Any way the new batmobile grew on me after i read what it does, basiclly, it's awesome!
thats exactly what Ive been trying to tell people about the new batmobile (or tumbler) I personally love the relationship between Alfred and bruce wayne , I hope there is no editing with that. however I feel that the sequal is going to have to be twice as dark. but like I said before I didnt like Katie holmes character and felt like she came out of the joel shummacher era.
SPOILERS!!!!!just thought her part was pointless, I did like the relationship between her and bruce when they where young, she starts off as a headstrong woman, who tells bruce that vengance isnt the awnser. I like the way that bruce wants to be with her (there is a scene when batman with his mask off puts katie holmes into her bed while she is past out , and he is just staring at her obvoulsly in love with her) but Katie always see's bruce as the little boy who she grew up with.its basically the whole revalation of how she discovers bruce been batman part that bugs me really.but I still love the script
um dude, some peeps dont want to know the story, please use big spoiler warnings to better avoid the wrong people reading it.
a mate of mine that works in pinewood studios mentioned to me today that Nolan has made some conciderable changes to the script (hopefully no nipples added to the batsuite, and no crappy diologe like batman and robin) since it was leaked online, a couple of months ago, which personally has me worrried cause this current script is really good and doesnt need changing and most of the people that have read it agree and would like to see that version on the screen.but I dont really mind as I have huge faith in Chris Nolan and David Goyer.
Don't double post, dude. Use the Edit button. But um, so far what I've heard about the batsuit is what you've seen in that photo Omar posted. The ears are shorter and the cape is made of cloth. Don't worry, no nipples showing in the suit. There's some info here but it's nothing new really. Besides, Christopher Nolan is a fan of Batman, unlike Joel Schumacher.
sorry for the double post mate was a mistake yeah Ive just read that article earlier on I really like the batsuite, to me it gives it that ''cloak and dagger '' feel which is very frank millerish. from what I heard the mask is detachable and the cape serves as a glinding device. I still would like to have seen Darren Aronofsky's version of batman yr1
I'm glad Aronofsky dropped out, he's a very particular director and a major million dollar franchise like Batman would be at odds with his style. Moreover, there would probably be more Bruce Wayne that Batman, and most fans would be turned off. I've see both Memento & Insomnia, which are interesting films. One thing I like about Nolan, is that he has such a great deep visual sense which is apparent in several shots of Guy Pearce and Al Pacino. He's very much intense with his blacks and uses a very diluted color plate and that's what'll help his recreation of the script.
the majority of batman begins is just mostly Bruce Wayne training then only makes the decision to become batman an hour into the film, I think Darren Aronofskys (spelling?) next film is called flikker
But is Ra's Al Ghul still the main villain though? He does seem like an odd choice for the villain for an origin film.
Yes he is the main villian , the movie is very faithfull to the comic book as Ra al ghul was one of bruce waynes first nemisis , who had constantly tried to get Bruce Wayne to lead his league of assasins , and also marry his daughter, speaking of his Daughter there is no mention of her in the script (not that it matters ) but if I could pick someone to play Talia I would have chosesn either Monica Belluci (spelling?) or Racheal Weiz (spelling?), but dont worry the sequel will have a villian all fans should be acustomed to ( im my opinion I think he should be played my either steve Bucemi , whome I heard turned down the role of scarcrow but Nolan offered him a future, Jonny Depp or John Leguizamo.)
