So excited to finally play this on Tuesday! I haven't been this amped for a game release in a long time, probably years.
I meant to replay Asylum and City before Tuesday, but then that Gears of War beta happened so...oh well, I'm ready for Tuesday!
How's the game guys? Also, (SUPERMEGASPOILERS) the Arkham Knight's identity...I called it!!! Hmm...players find it great, while others are disappointed, especially with the plot twists and the boss battles. Again. EDIT Be careful guys. The PC version is VERY buggy and flawed, apparently. Rocksteady's working on a patch.
I'm playing it on PC, but I'm somehow not even experiencing most of the issues that everyone else is. There were couple of instances where I experienced frame drops (both occurred during cutscenes that transitioned into gameplay, oddly enough), but other than that the game is actually playable for me. Ironically, this seems to be affecting people with really beast rigs the most. Go figure. Anyway, I'm about 5 hours in, and it's mostly been typical Arkham so far, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The Batmobile is the biggest change in gameplay mechanics, and it's used a lot more than I thought it would be. It's even used for puzzles, interestingly enough. I was surprised by how big in scale the story missions are even early in the game. Rocksteady definitely wanted to go big with this one, because there are a lot of huge action set pieces.
